    Bengals @ Chargers

Things didnt look to well for the bengals in this 1 as the chargers take the 10-0 lead in the 1st qrt.

Bengals would begin the comeback in 2nd qrt . QB Palmer would hit Te Coffman for the td. Bengals would come right back with a K Graham 47yd fg to tie the game up at 10-10. With under 2min left in the half QB Rivers would make a huge mistake as SS Ndukew picks off the pass and takes it for the pick 6. 17-10

Bengals would get the only score of the qrt as QB Palmer hits Wr Ocho for the short td. 24-10

In the 4th qrt Chargers would get right back into the game and cut the lead to td. Bengals offense would be forced to to give the chargers the ball back. Chargers look for the teing td but after 4 or 5 str8 passes to the hbs rivers would make 1 to many and S Herbert would pcik off the pass and seal the game with the pick 6.

    Texans @ Rams

Rams rebound from a disappointing loss to the Titans and take it out on the Texans. Bulger threw a couple of TD passes and the defenses held up their end by getting 2 pick sixes. Jackson tried to give the game away by fumbling twice, luckily the Rams recovered both of them. Coach Lou benched Jackson late in the 3rd quarter and put in rookie HB Woodhead. Woodhead took a handoff and followed his blockers thru the left side of the line for a 28 yd TD run giving the Rams a comfortable lead. Bulger would kneel to give the Rams the win. Final score Texans 7, Rams 35.

GG Red gl the rest of the way.

    Vikings 17 Panthers 10 ( I think)

The Minnesota Vikings traveled to Charlotte to battle the Carolina Panthers in a game pitting 2 tough defenses and 2 gound and pound offenses against one another.

The game featured 2 of the leagues best running backs in Adrian Peterson and Deangelo Williams, and both ate up yardage and clock in this slugfest.

    Notable performers
    - EJ Henderson recored his 7th int of the year.

The Seattle Seahawks bounce back after a stinging divisional loss last week to the 49ers.

Seattle used a 'turn back the clock' performance by Edgerrin James and a breakout performance by Nate Burleson to get a victory and stay in the Wildcard hunt.

James scored three touchdowns and went over 100 yards for the first time this year, while Burleson had a kickoff return for a touchdown and a 47 yard TD reception.

Hasselbeck struggled in this one, completing less than 50% of his passes and throwing two INTs. Not a strong performance by the 3 time Pro-Bowler.

I just want to mention as a sidebar that jcquik I think is going to be a force in MEGA down the road. He has VERY solid systems both offensively and defensively, and honestly I think it was just the talent levels that allowed me to blow this one out. His WRs must have literally had 10+ drops in this one, many on key plays. . .and his OLine AI was bad at picking up my blitzes even tho I could tell he was line shifting correctly. Once he gets a good draft or two and manages all of that free cap space, I think the NFC South will have its hands full. Seriously I was impressed. GL the next two seasons quik. . .

    49ers at Eagles

Both offenses would kept pace with each other in the first half as the defenses were both non-existent (14-14 at the half). Second half would be a different story and both defense made stops but it would be the Niners defense that made the last stop setting up a G.Coffee 4 yard run in the final seconds.

Glenn Coffee showed his strength in this one breaking several tackles and balancing the load with Gore as the Niners get ready for the playoff push. One more game and the NFC West title belongs to us and we are also still alive for a first round bye.

    Titans/Dolphins

These teams came into the game both leading their divisions perspectively. Tennessee was 12-1 while the phins were 11-2. Tennessee is eyeing in on at least a first round bye and came one game closer with a stellar performance at home. Taking and early lead 3-0 on their opening drive appeared to have Miami pressing a little bit as an interception on the second Dolphin drive led to a Titan TD. The game kinda spiraled out of control as it was 31-0 at the 2 minute warning of the first half. All of these points were off of turnovers. The Titans wound up with the shutout and extended its winning streak to 11 games. GG to IRod as it looks like we have a good chance of a playoff rematch.

    Broncos 6

Defense was the theme of the day in this barn burner. Raiders got up earlier with a TD run from Mcfadden and then late in the 2nd quarter Morrison would pick off a Smith pass to put the Raiders in scoring position again. Russell hit Murphy for a 3 yrd TD as the Raiders took a 2 score lead at halftime. 14-0.

Broncos came out in the 3rd determined to run the ball. They lined up and just pounded it at the Raiders D, as they would get it inside the redzone but couldnt punch it in for the TD and settled for the FG. Raiders would add a FG later as Jano nailed a 52 yarder to go back up by 14. The Broncose would add a second FG late in the game to round out the scores.

The Cowboys would travel to the Big Easy in week 15 to face Saints. This game would be a battle through out all the way down to the final gun. Two wide receivers would have huge days in this game. Berrian for the Cowboys would catch 6 passes for 205 yds and 2 Td's not to be out done Henderson for the Saints would ctach 4 balls for 121 yds. This lead to both Qb's having monster games Bress would go 21-32 for 269 yds 2 Td's and 2 Int's and would have had 60 more yds if he wasn't knocked out for 1 play. Romo would be up for the fight with his own 14-29 315 yds 3 Td's and 1 int. Don't think this was just a air battle both teams would put up over 100 yds on the ground aswell.

    Highlights

Brunnell to Henderson for 60 yds

42 yd pass from Romo to Berrian

80 yd Td run by Reggie Bush

87 yd Td pass from Romo to Berrian

30 yd Td pass to Berrian from Romo

The Scoring would start with a 1 yd Td run by COwboys Fb Anderson in the 1st qtr to give the Boy's a 7-0 early lead. The Saints would answer back in the 2nd qtr with a 23 yd pass from Bress to Moore to tie the game. The Cowboys would put up another Td on a 30 yd strike from Romo to Berrian to push th elead back to seven points 14-7. The Saints would answer before halftime with a Evans Td run to tie the game up at halftime 14-14. In the third qtr the scoring would start until there was under 5 mins left in the qtr. The Cowboys would score first with a 7 yd Td pass from Romo to Felix Jones. The Saints would answer with a Fg from Carney with 2:18 left in the third. That would give the Cowboys a chance to get a two score lead heading into the 4th qtr. Theyw ould would be able to do so with 1:19 left in the third when Romo would find Berrian 87 yd Td pass off a Wr screen. That would give the Boys a 28-17 lead after 3 qtrs. The scoring would stop in the 4th though after a Bress interception the Cowboys would be able to push their lead to 35-17 after a Barber Td run. That looked to seal the game but the Saints would not give up. On the ensuing drive they would answer with a quick score on a 80 yd run by Reggie Bush to get closer 35-24. On the Cowboys next drive the Saints defense would hold the Cowboys to a FG to keep themselves within 2 scores 38-24. The Saints would take allot of time off the clock on their next scoring drive but would get a Td on a pass from Bress to Thomas with 1:54 left to pull the Saints within one score 38-31. On the Cowboys next drive the Cowboys looked to put the game away after recovering the onside kick attempt. Romo tried to catch the Saints defense looking for the run and went Play action to get a quick first down. The plan would backfire as Romo looked for Roy Williams on a drag route over the middle and get picked off by Saints CB Porter. Thankfully for Romo and the Cowboys offense the Boy's defense would hold and not allow the Saints to move the ball and force a turnover on downs on a 3 and out. THe Cowboys would be able to run the Clock out behiond Braber and Felix Jones after that.

Cowbosy win a barn burner 38-31
