    Week 16 Giants (42) at Bears (24)

Giants win 3rd straight behind Stewart and Umenyiora

The Giants traveled to Chicago to take on the Chicago Bears. The Giants and Bears traded TD scores midway through the 1st but that is when it got real interesting. The Giants regained the lead on a 100 yard kickoff return by O'Carroll, 10 seconds later the Giants would score again after Devin Hester fumbled the kickoff return which was scooped up by Dockerey for a TD, Hester would fumble his 2nd straight kickoff return once again picked up by the Giants as they would cap off the drive with a 6 yard run by Stewart for a 28-7 1st Qtr lead. The Gmen scored 3 TD's in a matter of seconds but the Bears would regroup.

Cutler and company would bring the Bears back in the 2nd half once cutting the lead to just 11 points but the Giants got 172 yards and 3 TD's from Jonathan Stewart. The Giants pass rush also came to life knowing the Bears would have to pass to have a shot and Osi Umenyiora capitalized as he had 4 of the Giants 8 sacks on the day. Ed Reed would get an INT in the closing seconds to finally end any scoring threat and the Giants win their 3rd in a row as they now move to 6-9.

    Key Stats:

    Jonathan Stewart 25 car 172 yards 3 TD's
    Eli Manning 9/10 123 yards 0 TD's 0 INT's
Osi Umenyiora 6 tackles 4 TFL, 4 Sacks

Up next for the Gmen in their final game of the season is a rematch against the Redskins whom they played and beat just 2 weeks ago 27-24. The Giants have a chance to end Jeremy's reign as 2 time OMFL Champ but the Skins will be looking for some payback but this time they will have to do it at Giants Stadium.
