Week 16 - Lions 27 Packers 24 (OT) In SRC's final game as coach of the Detroit Lions, he officially wrapped up the NFC North with a hard fought overtime victory over Jethro and the Packers. Green Bay were dominant early, leading 17-3 midway through the second quarter, but the Lions slowly but surely got themselves back into contention, mainly through the arm of Matt Stafford, who finished with 391 yards and 3 TD's without a turnover. The Lions scored 21 unanswered points to take a 24-17 lead with just 54 seconds remaining, but Aaron Rodgers lead the Pack on an amazing drive, scoring on a 2 yard QB keeper with no time left on the clock, after getting the final snap off with just 1 second to spare. However, the Lions won the toss in OT and converted a key 4th down on the Packers 40 yard line to set up the 27 yard game winner from Gostkowski. Calvin Johnson, who should be the league MVP in my opinion, finished with another 9 catches for 189 yards and his 15th TD of the season. He is now leading the league in yards, and is second in TD's and receptions. And he plays for the Lions. Rodgers was good as usual for Green Bay, as was Atari Bigby on defense, finishing with 7 tackles and a forced fumble. Great game Jethro.
