Seattle fans see a crazy, wet game, as there were 10 turnovers total, 5 on each side, with the game coming down to the final play.

SF started off with the ball and promptly punted. Seattle took the Niners down the field, surprisingly having success on the ground, and ended up scoring on a RB Dwyer 31yd run. Frisco would answer with a drive of their own, putting up 6 on a RB Gore 4yder. The Hawks next play from scrimmage was a bomb to WR Butler, where the defender slipped and he took it to the house from 70+ yds out. After another SF punt, Seattle was at about their own 20yd line, when LB Willis forced a fumble, and took it in for the touchdown. The Seahawks would do the rest of the scoring thanks to multiple QB Smith picks. Half time score 24-14.

RB Forsett took the 2nd half kickoff, and put Seattle up 31-14 with a 95yd run. SF attempted to chip away at the score, but after missing a FG it was looking grim. A Niner punt pinned QB Austin and the Hawks at the 1, where DE Smith got pressure and hit FB Schmitt for the safety. With a little bit of momentum, the Frisco offense drove down the field, and on a 3rd and long, hit TE Davis in the endzone for a 14yd pass. The 4th quarter saw punts, fumbles, and ints from both sides, with no scoring being done until WR Greydon connected on a 9yd pass from Smith. Having to go for 2, Smith once again hit Greydon to tie up the score. Seattle's first play from scrimmage ended up being an attempted bomb by QB Austin, although it ended up in the hands of CB Robinson. Frisco quickly went 3 and out and punted. Seattle, on 3rd down, attempted to scramble for the 1st, but was hit and fumbled, recovered by SS Mays. SF had one timeout, 10 seconds on the clock, and was out of FG range. Smith connected with WR Ginn on a 20yd completion, setting up K Nedney with a 42yder, where he clanks the bar, but luckily for Frisco bounces in. Final score 34-31 Niners, gg.
