    Week 16: Niners 42 Rams 35

This was a back and forth offensive affair, as both defenses obviously struggled.

Niners started off with the ball and promptly scored on the first play, a 76yd pass from QB Nate Davis to WR Mike Thomas. The Rams answered with a drive of their own, capped off by a 1yd FB Mike Karney run. SF responded with a similar drive, ending in a 2yd FB Erik Pollard TD run. After an INT by LB Josh Sneed, the Niners scored on a 11yd TD reception by WR Michael Crabtree. STL added a FG to make the half time score 21-10.

The Rams started off with the ball and drove down the field to around 10. On 3rd and 6, RB Steven Jackson was stopped a few yards short of the 1st down marker, but fumbled. Thankfully for STL, it ended up in the hands of WR Donnie Avery who took it in for 6. Each team then traded TDs in the 3rd quarter; a 16yd run by RB Glenn Coffee and a 43yd pass to RB Joseph Addai. After a 37yd TD reception from Crabtree to start the 4th, the Niners were looking good. STL could only respond with a FG, while SF added another score from RB Devonte Sanders. A toss play from RB Steven Jackson with about 3 minutes left put STL within 7, but SF was able to get a few first downs and run out the clock. GG
