    Week 16 Playoff Races.

    Current Playoff Race

    AFC

    Division Leaders

    Dolphins 11-3
    Ravens 11-3
    Titans 13-1
    Raiders 10-4

    Wildcard

    Bills 10-4
    Denver 8-6

    Bubble Teams

    Cincy 7-7
    Chargers 5-8

    NFC

    Division Leaders

    Cowboys 12-2
    Bears 12-2
    Panthers 10-4
    49ers 11-3

    Wildcard

    Gmen 10-4
    Vikings 10-4

    Bubble Teams

    Seahawks 9-5
    Redskins 9-5
    Rams 8-6

    Current Playoff Matchups

    AFC

    Bye - Titans, Dolphins

    Broncos at Ravens
    Bills at Raiders

    NFC

    Bye - Bears, Cowboys

    Vikings at 49ers
    Giants at Panthers

    Key games coming up.....

    Week 16

Giants vs Panthers - Bigger for the Giants
Seahawks vs Packers - Seahawks need a win.
Cowboys vs Redskins - Cowboys want to secure the bye, Skins want to stay in the hunt.
Vikings vs Bears - Same as the above

    Week 17

Giants vs Vikings - Might be a huge game if one of these teams lost in wk16 and the wildcard team are close.
49ers vs Rams - Rams can play spoiler here.
Titans vs Seahawks - If they win vs the Pack they need to keep winning.
Ravens vs Raiders - Depending on how week 16 goes and if Dolphins or Raven lose this could be for a bye week.

    Things to note.....

A Broncos slip up and Cincy or Chargers could take their wildcard spot.

A Bills win and there a lock.

Dolphins, Raiders and Ravens could all compete for the second bye week. Dolphins would win if they all tied
based on maddens alphabetical order tiebreaker.

Home field in the NFC is still not a lock. Teams have to continue to win to guarantee that spot. Its between
the Cowboys, Bears and 49ers as to who will have the two spots.

Vikes and G-men can clinch wildcards with a win and a skins and Seahawks lost.

Skins and Seahawks can not afford to lose or they are most likely out.

Rams are a long shot and need a lot of help.

Great, the last thing I need is a fellow AFC playoff team being rejuvenated. Man, I cannot wait for both the playoffs and the offseason. Teams will have plenty of new talent and learning that first hand by getting torched by them will be fun. It my suck from time to time, but will be fun.

Here's the pretty simple playoff update:

    1) Redskins are in, unless they lose to the CPU
2)If the Giants win this week or next they are in
    3) Seahawks must beat Titans in Week 17 and hope the Giants lose twice
    4) Vikes must hope Giants lose in Week 16, Seahawks lose in Week 17, and they must beat the Giants in Week 17.

Alphabetical Tiebreaker blows. However amazingly enough the tiebreaker would match up right now to the real NFL tiebreaker of conference record.

So it pretty much seems like the NFC East will send 3 teams to he playoffs....

...and the Seahawks will miss the playoffs even if they go 11-5. Ouch.
