Ravens Win Tough Division Game on the Road In a sloppy AFC North battle, the Ravens won their fourth game of the season against the rival Cleveland Browns. The Ravens have had a disappointing season thus far, but they came out like they had wanted to prove they have not given up in their last few games. The Ravens came out on their first drive and gave the ball to Ray Rice, who helped to set up a Derrick Mason touchdown with 3:14 left in the quarter. The Browns answered on their opening drive with a 49 yard field goal by Phil Dawson to cut the lead to 7-3. In the third quarter, the refs seemed to miss a fair catch called by Lardarius Webb on a punt, that he returned 93 years for the Ravens second touchdown. The Browns answered back with a long drive that took up most of the third quarter, but resulted in a fumble on the 1 inch line that was recovered by the Ravens. The Ravens tried to get the ball out of the endzone, but Rice was hit on an all out blitz for a safety. With the Ravens defense being on the field the entire third quarter, other than 2 plays (punt return and safety), the tired group couldn’t stop the Browns from marching down the field and scoring on a 1 yard touchdown run by Jerome Harrison to close the gap to 14-12. The Browns defense stopped the Ravens next drive and forced them to punt. The Browns took the ball into Ravens territory, but this time Dawson missed on a long field goal that would have given the Browns the lead. With good field position, the Ravens went on a nice drive that was capped off with a Shayne Graham 42 yard field goal with just 1:09 left in the game. On the Browns next play, Terrell Suggs beat his man and forced McCoy to throw an interception to Haloti Ngata that was returned for a 20 yard touchdown to put the game out of reach.
