    Week 16

The Skins would get revenge for their earlier loss to the Cowboys by winning 45-21.

Midway thru the first quarter, the Skins would get a long throw to Devin Thomas as Campbell would see the blitz coming and dump it off. Thomas would be stopped inside the Dallas 10 and Portis would finish off the score. After getting the ball back on the next possession, Portis would take the ball 80 yards on a run for a 14-0 lead.

The Cowboys would get right back into the game with a short Barber touchdown run early in the second quarter. But unlike their first game, teh Skins weren't going to let the Cowboy come back and win another. The Skins would drive right back down the field and Campbell would find Randle El on a slant for the score.

The Cowboys would keep pushing it however and score on a Ogletree 24 yard pass with just under 2minutes to go in the half to bring the game to a 21-14 score. Campbell would find Moss for a 68 yard throw for the score. With a minute left, the Cowboys would drive down the field themselves. However, with 8 seconds to go, they would miss a 31 yard field goal and the Skins would be up 28-14 at the half.

The Skins would start the second half firing. Expecting the Cowboys to focus on the run, the Skins would call a play action pass on the first play in the second half. Moss would catch the ball crossing the field and break a Newman tackle for the 79 yard score.

The Cowboys would get a field goal midway through the 3rd, but another rushing touchdown by the Skins would put the game out of reach. The Cowboys would get touchdown in the fourth along with a Skins field goal to end the scoring.

Dual game balls to Campbell for his 12 for 14, 382 yards and 3 touchdowns and Santana Moss for 4 atches for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns.

    gg GT

(The win comes w/ an asterisk as we had to restart the game due with the cowboys up big midway thru the third)

    Titans/Chargers

This game was one of the toughest of the year for the Titans. playing against an upstart cpu the Titans had to come from behind in the fourth quarter to pull it out. Down 38-27 with about 5:30 minutes left the game came down to Chris Johnson making big plays. He took a screen pass 50 yards for a touchdown and then following an interception by mlb S. Tulloch the Titans had one last chance at a victory. They took advantage and scored the game winning TD with :13 secs left on a C. Johnson 3 yard scamper. Johnson has broken the single season rushing record and tallied up 30 TD's on the year.

    * The Titans have wrapped up home field advantage throughout playoffs and will be starting Javon Ringer at running back next week as well as V. Young at qb to ensure their starters at both positions do not fall down to the injury bug.

    Panthers vs. Giants

The Panthers looked like they were going to take this game from the opening kickoff. Stewart would take it 86 yards before being tackled in the redzone. A few plays later and Delhomme would hit Barnidge in the endzone for a quick 7-0 lead. The Giants would get the ball and go 3 and out after being hassled by the Panthers front-four. A five-minute drive going the other way, and DeAngelo Williams would score on a 1yd TD.

New York would get the next two scores to tie the game at 14 with short runs by Hedgecock and Brown.

Then faced with 3rd and Short, the Panthers would playaction for a 37yard gain to Steve Smith. On the next play, Duckett would shrug off several defenders and pound it 19 yards deep into the endzone.

The Giants would strike back quickly however following a pair of Carolina fumbles with touchdown passes to Brown and Smith.

Following a third fumble by the Panthers, the Giants had great field position to put together a game-winning drive. Carolina's defense thought otherwise, forcing a sack on Manning and he would cough the ball up into the air for a user-pick by E. Brown the defensive end. He would take it 43yds to the house and the win. Final Score 35-28.

    ------
Everette Brown 6 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 INT

Then, with time ticking down late in the game, Peppers would sack Manning who coughed the ball straight up in the air to Everette Brown who would rock it to the house from there.

Well leave it to the Falcons to lose by winning . The Dirty Birds had a top 5 Draft pick in there hands only to have it slapped away by a win . The Falcons Hosted the Bills and after a 4 minute opening drive that resulted in a TD for the Bills the Falcons gave the Ball to Mr.Turner . All he did was run the ball and gave the Falcons a 1st and goal at the 1 . From there he punched it in to Tie the game . The 2 teams traded TD's to knot the game at 14 . Then the Birds Drove the field only to stall and settle for a FG . From there the D took over to secure a 17-14 win . Micheal Turner ran the Ball for 139 yds and 1 TD . GG Polo

    Texans @ Dolphins

Miami hosted the Huoston Texans in a wet and muddy game that went from a blow out to a nail biter till the end. If not for the Vetaren play of Jason Taylor the Texans would of been right back in the game! Tedd Ginn had another break out game going for over 150 yards and a score.

    Final:
    Texans 23
    Dolphins 38

    Denver @ Philly .... 35-31 Bronco's

Wow .. CPU games are junk .. I realize sometimes we have no choice .. but seriously? Vick and Westbrook combined for 2 70yd plus touchdowns in the 1st half and Philly held a 28-14 lead at the break .. Westbrook being cast in bronze during the break to replace the Rocky statue downtown ...

No-Show Moreno had a big second half ... scoring 3 times .. two in the 3rd qrt as the big play evening continued ... his 3rd the last score to clip the Eagles ... and Correll Buckhalter picked up a key 2nd down rush that burned up their last time out and allowed Alex Smith to kneel out the clock ...

Alex Smith 26/35 for 356 two touchdowns and a pick ... Mike Vick was at his best, like ever ... going 14/20 for 356 and 4 scores .. all before half time ... Denver's defense shut the door after the break and after some adjustments in schemes.
