The Jaguars came to Houston looking to do something to build on for the future and they did just that with a 16-3 win. The game was dominated by the defense and the rookies of the Jaguars on offense.
The first quarter was a stalemate dominated by both defenses holding the teams scoreless. The Jaguars drove down the field to start the 2nd but were unable to bunch the ball in and had to settle for a field goal. The same thing happened to end the 1st half with Jacksonvile driving down the field but the Texans D held up on a 3rd and goal with 2 seconds left to hold them to another field goal, making the game 6-0 at half time.
The Jags would receive the ball to start the 2nd half and took the opening drive that was dominated by Storm Johnson and Blake Bortles and was capped off by a 5 yard bullet to fellow rookie M. Lee for a 5 yard TD pass! 13-0 Jags.
The Texans would opened up the 4th quarter with a field goal of there own after failing to punch the ball in. The Jags offense would put the ball game away by going on a long drive that ended in another Scobee field goal with less then 2 mins to go in the game. Texans would go 3 and out on the next drive ending the game and the season for both teams.

    Bortles- 13/18, 210 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT
    Storm Johnson- 58 yards
    M. Lee- 4 rec, 49 yards, 1 TD.

    Good game dakota7
