Jets win seventh-straight after getting revenge on Bills 29-26 in Buffalo

The New York Jets coming off of their win against the Chargers had already clinched the AFC East division, but needed a win in the final week of the regular season to improve seeding for the playoffs. The Jets won another close game over Buffalo to grab the #3 seed in the AFC for the postseason. The Jets' seven game win streak is currently the longest streak in the AFC and trail only the Saints of the NFC who currently have won eight straight games.

The Jets were once again led to victory by a solid performance from Mark Sanchez. Sanchez only threw 10 completions on the day out of 14 attempts, but he was able to find receivers in spots to gain YAC. Sanchez ended the day with 203 yards, a pair of TD passes, and one interception. For the second straight week, Stephen Hill had a strong showing for the Jets. Out of Hill's three receptions, two were for touchdowns. Hill would have 78 receiving yards on the day. QB Tim Tebow continues to be another dimension in the New York offense. Tebow ran the ball once and threw one pass. Both plays resulted in New York touchdowns.

The Jets defense has all season done a great job of forcing turnovers from the opposition. This week they would add another interception, but from an unlikely contributor. DE Mike DeVito was able to grab a tipped pass at the line of scrimmage and rumble 47 yards down the field to get deep into Bills' territory and set up a touchdown.

The Jets will begin their playoffs this week hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars, who earlier this season lost to the Jets in a 41-40 close game.
