This Week 17 matchup featured two teams going in opposite directions. Coach Jeremy and his Vikings were playing for positioning in the NFC playoff picture while Coach Kevin and his Packers were playing for respect. Withhe Vikings would ensure theirselves at least a first round bye in the playoffs and would also give them slim hopes on leaping the Eagles for the #1 seed.
The Packers recieved the opening kickoff and put a great drive together and march down the field using a mix of run and pass. QB Aaron Rodgers would eventually find WR TJ Hous-ya-Mamma for the 12-yd TD pass.
On the Vikings first possession the offense fielded a plethra of new faces as Coach Jeremy had previously decided to rest his starters and not risk injury. QB Mike Vick took the reigns in what was his first start as a Viking. But all did not end well. Vick would throw an int. on this first drive and give the ball right back to the Pack.
The Vikings defense, itself fielding 2nd stringers, would stiffen and hold the Packers out of the endzone.
    1st
    Packers-7
    Vikes-0

Late in the 2nd the Vikings would finally put a drive together that was capped with a Vick 3-yd TD run off of playaction.
    HALF
    Packers-7
    Vikes-7

Both offenses came out rejuvenated in the 2nd half. The Vikings would add a 68-pass and catch TD from Vick to WR Vaughn and also a 101-yd KR from KR Trapp. The Packers' Brandon Boutte would not be outdone though in his race for the record books. Backed up deep in their own territory Boutte would get his number called and scmper 92-yds for the TD. This long run put the OMFL record for rushing yards in reach. in this 3rd quarter the Packers would add another TD this time from HB Focus from 1-yd out.

    3rd
    Packers-21
    Vikes-21

Mid-way through the 4th quarter Boute would indeed get the record. Boutte would end the day with 330 rushing yards and finish the year 30yds ahead of the previoous record holder,Maurice jones Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars. But this day wasnt all fireworks for the Jags. A late 4th quarter TD for the Vikings would propel them to the win and guarantee them a first round playoff bye.

    FINAL
    Vikings-28
    Packers-21
    GG, Kevin.
