    Week 17

The ownerless seahawks hosted the rams in their final game of the 2010-11 MEGA season. Tankwillis stepped up for a second time and sub coached
the team against the rams and gave them trouble just like the first game.

The seahawks defense was strong and with 8 defenders in the box all game, slowed down Sjax to his lowest yardage numbers of the season. The seahawks jumped to a 10-0 lead after a FG and when coach ox was a idoit, trying to break a tackle, hit the pitch the ball button and Sjax threw it right to Seahawks FS Griffen who ran it 60 yards for the TD. Rams QB Bulger regained some composer and lead the team to their first score of the game with 10 seconds left in the half. With that TD the rams went on a 31-0 run and took control of the game. Two late touchdowns passes from seahawks QB marrow to WR bulter brought the game back to one score, but the rams got a couple first downs and ran out the clock.

With this win, The St. Louis Rams go 16-0 and complete the season undefeated and secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

GG Tank and thanks again for the sub.

Tennessee went up against the AFC East division leading Miami. Both teams already had playoff bids secured and could possibly meet again in a week or two. The Titans played tough defense throughout and finished off the regular season with a 4 game winning streak. final score in this one was 38-10. gg to junior and good luck in the playoffs.

*the Titans finished an up and down regular season, but feel confident in this bunch and are looking to make a repeat trip to the MEGA Bowl.

The Skins would go up big in the first half on the Bears on good long drives. They would end up 24-3 at the half on two runs by Clinton Portis and one by Ahmad Bradshaw.

Two miscues by Jason Campbell in the third quarter would get the Bears back into the game as Bowman would go 64 yards with a pick six and then Gould would get a field goal right after another Campbell pick. The score after three would be 27-14.

The Skins would get a touchdown on a play action pass to Randle El after a long drive but would fail to convert the two point conversions. On the ensuing kickoff Hester would go 98 yards for the score and bring the lead down to 33-21. A field goal by the Skins and tough defense from both sides would end the scoring there.

Green Bay beats Detroit 31- 12

It was a close game early as the Pack went into the half only up 14-12, but the defense stepped up in the second half and the offense came up with some big plays, to earn the W.

    Jags @ Texans

What a game to end the season. Two 100+ yd KR's for a TD, over 1500 yds combined total yards, over 1000 yds combined total offense, 493 yds combined rushing and over 500 yds combined passing. Do I need to say more?

The Jags and Texans had an ole fashion shootout down in the LoneStar state. The Texans started the scoring by picking up a MJD fumble and returning it 16 yds for the TD to take a quick 7-0 lead 30 secs into the game. The Jags would come right back 16 secs later on the ensuing KO and return the kick for a 103 yd TD to make it 7-7. The Texans didn't want to be outdone so they would take their KO 14 secs later to the house on a 104 yd KR for a TD to make it 14-7 Texans. The Jags would get the ball back after the KO and on the first play from scrimmage 17 secs later, HB MJD would take the handoff and go off left tackle for a 81 yd TD run to make it 14-14. The Texans once again decided to copy the Jags. After getting the kick from the Jags, the first play from scrimmage 18 secs later, HB Slaton would take the handoff and go off left tackle for a 72 yd TD run to make it 21-14 Texans. Finally both teams would settle down some and play a little defense, but the Jags would end the first quarter with a 73 yd TD pass from James to Lelie to make the score 21-21 after 1 qtr. Both teams combined to score 42 points in the first quarter, crazy game.

In the second quarter, both teams would trade TD passes to make the score 28-28 at the half. A big drop off from the first quarter but still an exciting game. The fans definately got their money's worth today.

In the third quarter the Jags defense tightened up and didn't allow the Texans to score at all in the quarter. The Jags got two TD passes from James to make the score 42-28 after the third quarter. The Jags started to breath a sigh of relief sensing they may have the game wrapped up but it was premature.

In the fourth quarter both teams played tough defense and held the other team in check. The Texans finally managed to break the endzone again with about 4 mins left in the game to cut the lead to 42-35. The Jags would get the ball back and start to march downfield trying to get the score to go back up by 2 TDs. The Jags would make it all the way down to the 1 yd line forcing the Texans to use all of their timeouts in the process. Coach Lou had a decision to make as the time was ticking off the clock; go for the TD to go up by 14 points or kick the FG and go up by 10 points...Coach Lou took the FG and then kicked off to the Texans. The Texans did their best to get in the endzone making it all the way down to the Jags 1 yd line before running out of time. Final score Jags 45, Texans 35.

    Jags Players of the Game

QB Kelly James 17 of 27 for 348 yds, 4 TDs, 2 INTs
HB Maurice Jones-Drew 30 carries for 233 yds, 1 TD
WR Ashely Lelie 5 catches for 150 yds, 1 TD

    Texans Players of the Game

QB Matt Schaub 13 of 20 for 217 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
HB Steve Slaton 15 carries for 255 yds, 2 TDs

CLEVELAND, OH - With both teams securing a spot in the playoffs, the Browns and Ravens looked to rest their starters. The Ravens, with an outside chance of a first round bye, still had something to play for but weren't willing to risk injury to any players. This would give starting time to rookies QB Tim Trebow and RB Devan Nieves. The Ravens ran a spread offense for the first time this season and both players seemed to thrive. After the Raven D forced a stop, Tribow and Nieves got things moving. Tribow threw a short toss to Ray Rice for the opening score. He wasn't done there. Tribow had the offense rolling, throwing 2 more TD passes to Nieves and Todd Heap to open up an early 21-0 lead. The Browns decided to take Derek Anderson out after the 1st quarter, going with Daunte Culpepper instead. Culpepper mounted a drive which ended with Vernon Davis scoring on a nicely designed play. Tribow and Nieves grounded away and put up another FG before the half ended.

With KR Webb out, Chris Carr got the nod and returned the 2nd half kickoff 97 yards to open up the lead to 31-7. The Browns would get a break, pinning B'more deep. Tribow threw a first down pass to Clayton, who got upfield but fumbled. That set up a short TD run from Pierre Thomas and a successful 2 point conversion. 31-15 Ravens. Baltimore added another score as Nieves took a handoff and raced 34 yards behind a wall of blocking. Ed Reed would collect a late interception, his second of the game. Both teams escaped injury free, and will begin the postseason next week.

Eagles went to Minnesota and beat a good playoffs team, to end the season in a good note. In the most meaningful game of the week, the Bucs hosted the Panthers in a game that would decide the division. The connection was a little slow and this affected the pace of the game, although it didn't stop the Panthers from putting the first points up on the board. With Steve Smith getting knocked out early, Vince Young would hit Kevin Moore for an 8yd touchdown.

The Bucs would get the ball and struggle with the lag, with back to back sacks followed by an interception. Then the Panthers would throw an interception right back, and Derrick Ward would rumble in from 17 yards to tie the game.

The game would go back and forth for the most part, with the Bucs moving the ball, but 4 interceptions and a fumble would cost them dearly. Carolina wasn't able to capitalize on the turnovers except to keep Tampa points off the board.

After suffering a mild concussion in the first quarter, HB DeAngelo Williams would come back for the second half. On a sweep he would break a tackle and go 57 yards to the Tampa 4 yard line, and then he scored on the next play. Suddenly it was 17-7. Another turnover, and the Cats would settle for a FG. Then after a Bucs field goal, and another great run by Williams, Fiametta would punch it in from short to put the game out of reach.

    Final Score
    Panthers 27
    Buccaneers 10
