Ok guys, Steamer is still the commish but I'm taking over the file and the advancements to hopefully move it along a little quicker. Expect to get your balls busted if you aren't getting your games in a timely fashion.

Yippee, no more 5 am advances! (y)

This will be a 24 hour week, if not sooner.

Dartmouth loses to 31-34, I thought I may walk away with a win in this one but I let it slip away..a few dumb INTs thrown by the frosh QB in the second half turned the game around. I like my new offensive scheme though, it's clicking a bit more now.

Well, my first pass to Andre 'Biscuit' Grant was a drop.

The next was a deep jump ball he took away from the DB and scored with, 70 yard TD pass. That's about the only thing that has gone right in the first half. Louisville being a B+ team and my rival means the cpu is chaffing my ass hole. I did manage to score from the 1 yard line at the end of the half so it's still within striking distance, 34-14.

Their QB is 11-14, 3 TDs 2 rushing TDs (on scrambles) and a pick. So 5 total TDs in the first half.

2nd half kickoff and I return it for a TD. As soon as I see green open up...flag. Fuck. You.

Pick 6 by my ugly duckling LBer! 34-21 JQwon13

    What rivals we are...

To continue my post above, I hit Biscuit on another Go route and he outran their secondary. The rest of the time, one of their 4 down linemen shed a block and destroyed me. When UL had the ball, they'd hand it off and the RB would break 2 tackles at a minimum. Same with QB keepers. I really hate playing the cpu.

Matt Poland was baptized by fire into Ivy League football, and lived to tell about it. He ended up going 14-28 for 327, 3 TD 2 INT and 3 Sacks. 32 rushing yards but factoring in the sacks, about 60 rushing yards. He had a nice run early and I hit the slide button but he decided to dive face first and, of course, he fumbled the ball. He also fumbled while getting hit in the pocket. So, altogether, Poland was responsible for 4 TOs but he's learning on the job.

The good new is that Justin Dockery, a.k.a. the speedy butterface, led the team in TFL by a wide margin (4. Next closest was 1) and none of those were sacks. He also scored 25% of our points on a pick6 and almost had another after jumping a HB Screen, but it was only a deflection.

    Penn - 31
    Temple - 28

Started off with a lucky bounce, as Temple fumbled their opening kick return and Penn would quickly jump on it, then pound in a quick touchdown to take a 7-0 lead. The rest of the quarter was ALL Temple, as they rattled off 21 straight points thanks to some great plays by their DBs and their QB playing like Tom Brady. But down 21-7, DB Joseph McKenzie jumped a slant route and took it 62 yards to the house, bringing me within seven, 21-14. After a defensive stop, Penn would march downfield and knock in another touchdown, this one on the ground, to tie the game at 21-21 going into the half.

The third quarter saw no scoring, as Temple would take up half the quarter on a drive that sputtered out just outside field goal range. Their punt would be downed at the 4 yard line, and Penn would take over midway through the 3rd. 17 plays, 96 yards, and 8:30 later, Quinn Fritz was bursting into the end zone on a short touchdown run, putting the Quakers up 28-21 with 4:03 left in the game. After a quick 3-and-out, Temple would surrender a big run to Fritz, putting Penn in field goal range with time winding down. Going conservative, Penn would run it 3 times then kick the short field goal, putting them up 31-21 with less than a minute to go. Temple would get a TD on a hail mary as time expired, but it was too little too late.

I'll be playing as soon as the water damage/restoration companies leave. Got two on their way out here and they don't know about the other one. I'll let them bid it out for the ceiling repair, and when they leave I'll get on and play.

Was actually 21-21 with under a minute left in the 2nd quarter before I scored three straight TD's including two pick sicks to close out the half. John Running Water was impressive in his debut going 13-17 for 136 yards and 1 running TD. Junior HB Marcus Hardy was the POTG running 22 times for 136 yards and 2 TD's including a 54 yard TD run to opening up scoring for Brown.

Hoya defense steps up big as they limit the Bearcats to 151 yards of offense. Preseason DylSteel defensive end George Goodwin added two sacks to help the cause. Dusty Morse carried the ball for 128 yards. Meanwhile freshman QB Dan Jones goes 9 for 15 for 108 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.

Bison lose on the road in OT. Had a TD called back in OT and had to settle for 3 and it cost me. 4 first half picks also didnt help but we moved the ball against the Jayhawks so im happy with the new offense. Up next a home game against Buffalo.
