Oh Aunite Em, we're not in Kansas anymore.

The ghost of Yragha's high powered passing attack just shredded the once proud Miami club. I had no answer on offense or defense today. The non-stop hurry up offense (even when the ball carrier gets tackled out of bounds...) exhausted the Redhawks and easily exposed our soft spots on defense. It wasn't an EA F-You game, though. I had chances but couldn't execute.

The Miami O continued to be inconsistent and erratic. Penalties reversed two big plays. Drops plagued the receiving corp. Passing accuracy was a guess at best. And, oh the turnovers! Injured senior Robert Partridge tried to play through his high ankle sprain, but it hurt his already shaky control. He threw 4 INTs (and one TAINT) in less than three quarters, before being pulled for Jack Black. The frosh fared no better flipping up another INT before the thrid stringer, Tony Stark, saw some mop-up action.

Dougie Fresh was stuffed at the line all day until a broken finger ended his day. John Coltraine was productive when called upon, but he separated his shoulder and missed the final quarter and a half. There was nothing good about this game, except that it's over.

Commish survives his brush with the spread no huddle passing attack against in-state rival Cincinatti. After a game of Tecmo Bowl in the 1st Quarter. The Commish settled the troops down and eaked out a victory.

I don't think the Ohio St. game next week is going to be pretty. SMH!

Knowing going against a top tier program in there house would be a long shot. With a couple defensive stops early and some key scores the Falcons were able to play from ahead without having the crowd effect the game.Rhis ws a total team effort so cant lay the win on any specific guy or unit.

    Falcons 38
    Hurricanes 28
