Welcome to ESPN's College Gameday, live from Athens, Georgia, the site of this week's Game of the Week between the #4 Ohio State Buckeyes and the #14 Georgia Bulldogs. I'm Chris Fowler and I'll be joined by Herbie and the Coach to discuss this week's news from around the world of college football as well as preview this week's great slate of action on the gridiron.

We start here in Athens, where Gameday is this week. Let's welcome Kate Upton with the latest news on this weeks Game of the Week between the Buckeyes and the Bulldogs.
"Although Georgia is ranked #14, most still consider this a top 10 battle as Georgia dropped out of the top 10 because they fell to a great FSU team.
Ohio State comes into this one with a head of steam after easily handeling Boise State. This was in thanks to their Heisman hopeful Senior QB Jake Davis who had 298 and 3TDs in the air and added another 2TDs on the ground. The Buckeyes will call upon him to help them return home with a victory.
Georgia's run game struggled to get going last week as HB Clayton Pollard only rushed for 28 yards on 12 carries. QB Darius Hart didn't play bad, but had one costly interception. This week Hart will look to hook up with WR Julio Jones( yes another Julio Jones, although look at his skills, it looks like the same guy) as he did last week."
    Players To Watch:
For Ohio State: QB Jake Davis

Oregon went into Memorial Stadium and emerged victorious, 45-3. The Oregon defense stepped up in this one, only allowing a first quarter field goal and held Nebraska under 200 yards. Greg Lacy again willed his team to victory first throwing for 3TDs, 2 to TE T.J. Powers; then running for another 2TDs, with one being a 64 yards scamper off of a QB draw. All three phases of the game were working for Oregon as CB Josh Olsen returned a punt for 78 yards in the third quarter. The Ducks travel to Conneticut to take on the Huskies next week.

    Player of the Game:
    QB Greg Lacy: 10/15 193yds 3TDS, 10att 127yds 2TDs.

#2 UNC crushed #11 West Virginia 52-14 in Chapel Hill. The Heels exposed the Mountaineers, showing just how overrated they were in the preseason poll. They lacked the talent (B- overall) to hope to compete, especially on defense. Heisman hopeful James Berry was 15-17 for 303 yards and threw for 3 TDs and he rushed 10 times for 141 yards and 3 TDs in a dominating performance. UNC will travel to #1 Stanford and coach mboda in a rematch of what was a very exciting National Title game last season.

The Iowa Hawkeyes came into this game looking to show that they are a better defensive team than they played like in week 1. They showed that by dominating every aspect of the game against #23 BYU. QB Mooney went 7/11, 68 yards and a TD. But the story of this game was Iowa's star HB C. Lowe, and there defense. Lowe rushed for 158 yards and 2 TD's on 32 attempts. Iowas defense held BYU to 8/17 passing for 94 yards, 0 td's and4 INT's. also, Iowa's rush defense was even better, holding them to a total of 29 yards rushing on 12 attempts. Iowa played like themselves this week, and proved why they will be in the national championship discussion this year.
