    Week 2: Army vs. Duke

    Lost 38 - 28

Army showed that they really lack defense in this game. Duke QB Thaddeus Lewis threw for 326 yds and 2 TD's. The defense got their hands on many balls but couldn't pull them down. Blue Devil's RB Requan Boyette ran for 120 and caught 4 for 43 yds. He just couldn't be stopped.

Army still showed promise of great things to come this season when 3rd string RB Ian Smith returned the first kick-off of the game for 6. Army still looks pretty raw in the fleXbox One offense, throwing too many illadvised pitches. These led to 4 fumbles. Impact Sophmore, RB George Fletcher, had a big game with 108 yds on 10 rushes and a TD. Chip Bowden even threw for a TD after an option TD was called back because of holding. Army began coming back late in the game but it would be too late.

With better ball control, this could have easily been a W in Army's favor.
