Vikings Start 2-0 in Division; Beat Bears on Road[IMG]
Chicago, IL - The Vikings came into their Week 2 match-up with divisional rival Chicago 1-0, with a 1-game lead on the entire division already. They looked to widen the gap, while Chicago looked to right the ship after a tough week 1 loss.

The Bears would receive first, but an errant throw by rookie QB Corey Cabrera on 3rd & short forced a punt. The Vikings responded by driving the ball at ease, mostly behind the running game of 2nd-year back Jarrad Savoie. QB Teddy B would hit TE Kyle Rudolph from 4 yards out for the score, to put the Vikings up 7 early. Another quick series by the Bears was followed by a 3 & out by the Vikings. The Bears O would finally get things going midway through the 2nd quarter, helped out by a couple of crucial penalties on 3rd down stops. HB Vic Ballard would cross the goal line to tie the game with 7 minutes to play in the half. The Vikings would respond with a long drive, but Bridgewater would force a pass in the end zone that was picked off by SS George Iloka. The half would end in a tie, 7-7.

The 2nd half started with a bang, as return specialist WR Paris Clark would take the ensuing kickoff 100 yards to paydirt to put the Vikings back on top by 7. The Bears would respond with a FG, and after another Minnesota punt, the Bears found themselves with the ball only down 4 with 7 minutes to play in the game. However, the rookie QB would show his age, and with the game on the line would throw a pick-6 to Captain Munnerlyn to all but seal the game. Final Score: Vikings 24, Bears 10.
