The Buffalo Bills won their second straight game to start the season, beating the struggling New York Jets, who will have a new owner for week 3. The Bills got off to a great start, scoring two first quarter TD's on runs from CJ Spiller and rookie QB Tyler Dougherty. The Jets fought back in the second quarter with a perfect long throw to Calvin Johnson, but missed to extra point to make the score 14-6 in the Bills favour at halftime. The third quarter was a great struggle, with Jets rookie Earl Bowman scoring out of the wildcat to tie the game after a successful two point conversion. The Bills would respond with another two scores however, Marshawn Lynch pounding in a TD and Leodis McKelvin taking an interception to the house. The Jets fought hard in the final quarter, but in the end ran out of time after a failed onside kick, the Bills holding on to win 31-28. GG Miklos, thanks for subbing.
