Lots of noise has surrounded the Bucs as their roster is arguably the most talented in the QSF this season. With that talent comes huge expectations and the Bucs answered in Week 1 with a win over the very talented Cleveland Browns.
This week 2 divisional match-up pitted the 1-0 Bucs vs the 0-1 Panthers. The game left much to be desired on the field as the first half scoring was only comprised of Field Goals. The Bucs Kicker, Zachary Wooten hit two FGs in the 1st quarter and the Panthers Kicker Graham Gano answered back with 3 FGs in the 2nd quarter to bring the half-time score to 9-6 Panthers.
The third quarter was more of the same as both kickers traded FGs. The big story out of this quarter was the injury to Bucs start QB Dennis Cox who would not return and we later find out will be out 7 weeks. Fortunately the Bucs did draft a QB early in this years draft and QB De'Adrian Trahan would quickly get thrown into the fire and commence to get burned by said fire and a stout Panthers defense. In his short stint, Trahan would get picked off 2 times.
The score going into the 4th was 12-9 Panthers and they would add to their lead early in the quarter with a beautiful 59yd FG by Gano. But on the ensuing drive Trahan would rise up and drive his team down the field where HB Thyre Pendelton would punch it in from 3yds out. The big play on this drive was a 66yd reception by TE Brandon Myers.
The Panthers would put together a couple of drives at the end but the Bucs defense stood tall and denied a Panthers victory.

GG CSteud Looking forward to the rematch
