    Week 2 Cowboys(38) Vs Redskins(7)

    Cowboys Massacre Redskins

One week after a disappointing loss in this seasons opener the Cowboys bounce back with a decisive win over division rival Redskins. Dallas looked impressive in all aspects of the game (minus one missed FG) as they handed 2 time OMFL Champion coach Jeremy his first loss of the season. Tony Room looked in Pro Bowl Form as he finished the game with a QB rating over 150. Barber continued on his punishing performance of last week rushing for 113 yards on 21 carries and it finally looks like the Cowboys have found a number 2 receiver in Donald Driver. Driver made some clutch catches and one for a TD giving the Cowboys a viable option behind Roy Williams, while Devin Thomas looked comfortable as the slot receiver making some key possession catches.

At the onset of the game it looked like it was going to be a long day for an up and down Dallas offense as they would go three and out and be forced to punt, but that would be the only punt of the day for the Cowboys. After the Redskins got the ball Jason Campbell would throw an immediate interception setting up Tony Romo’s first TD of the year. After that Dallas never looked back and the Redskins could not get anything going as the Dallas defense would not allow a Redskins score until 3:53 in the 4th quarter. “The way we preformed today is what we are here to do. We are here to win, end of story. You execute and you will prevail. These guys have short memories and we know what kind of team we are, so we weren’t going to dwell on last weeks loss. I know the Redskins are a tough team with a 2 time champion coach so we aren’t expecting these guys to lay down next time we play, so we still got work to do.†Coach Wajomatik at the press conference.
