Week 2: Giants (31) at Colts (10) Manning Bowl II goes in favor of younger brother Eli and the Gmen It was billed as Manning Bowl II, Eli vs Peyton, Little Brother vs Big Brother, both whom are Super Bowl MVP's so this game had all the media hype but as it turned out neither Manning really had an impact on the outcome of the game. Eli did strike 1st as he hooked up with an old familiar target in Jeremy Shockey on a 14 yard pass whom the Giants brought back in a trade with the Saints, for a 7-0 lead. The Giants gameplan from the start was to establish the run early and wear down the thin Dline of the Colts and it seemed to work to perfection. The Giants combined for over 250 rushing yards including an 80 yard TD run by Brandon Jacobs to start the 2nd half as he would finish with 159 yards on 13 carries with 2 TD's. Ahmad Bradshaw ran for 69 yards and 1 TD as the Giants would go on to cruise to a 31-10 victory for their 1st win of the season. The Giants will now move to 1-1 as they try to find a way to slow down Chris Johnson as they prepare for the Titans.
