    Week 2: Houston (36) vs Washington (6)

Washington Gets a Serving of Tate

After an abysmal week 1 start for the offense of the Texans they created a new gameplan for this weeks game. The Texans decided to grind it out on the ground rather than air it out this week as expected. The results were great as Ben Tate and Steve Slaton combined for over 200 yards on the ground. Wish Slaton going down early in the third quarter the Texans rode Ben Tate to victory as he amassed over 150 yards on the ground and two TDs.

The Texans defense held strong once again as they shut down McNabb and caused 3 interceptions along with one fumble. It wasn't until late in the game when McNabb got into the grove of things, but it came too little too late as the hole was just too big to get out of. Even with three interceptions today McNabb ended up throwing for 300+ yards and a touchdown.

In the end this game just came down to turnovers as the turnovers were +4 in the Texans favor.
