Saints carry momentum into Carolina and continue to roll.

The Panthers opened the game with a three and out followed by a shanked punt by the punter(?). The Saints would march down the field and strike early. The next drive for the Panthers went exactly like the first, but this time the Saints had to drive 60 yards befor the score by P. Thomas made it 14-0. The 1st quarter would end with N.O. leading 14-0.

For some reason the punter would continue to shank punt after punt. In the second quarter Carolina got on the board in what the fans are saying was a lapse in concentration by the team, when G. Olsen got by the blitz uncovered for the score. Big play for 60+ yards. The Saints would go down the field only to come away with a FG and take a 17-7 lead. As the mistakes by the Panthers mounted N.O. would continue to put points up. HALFTIME: N.O. 20 - CAR 7

Saints recieved the ball and scored on their first drive. The Panthers would begin to run the ball effectively and tack on three more points. The Saints were playing the pass for the most part in the 2nd half and Carolina just kept pounding the rock. Unfortunately the clock chewed away faster than they could score. As the 3rd quarter comes to a close the Saints lead 34-10. The 4th quarter saw back-ups start to make their way into the game for N.O. Ingram gashed Carolina for long runs and Chase Daniels only needed one pass attempt in the last 4 minutes of the game.

No injuries for the Saints. I'm not sure if the injuries for Carolina happened during our game listed on the report. Although I do think SS- Godfrey went down in our game.

    Final 41-16

    Saints 2-0
    Panthers 0-2
