Good news! We were able to advance to Week 2 a little early.

As a reminder, we will try to advance early when all games are complete. However, sometimes we will be busy so don't expect us to advance the minute the last game is played. ;)

The deadline for Week 2 is posted in the title. Future advances will be scheduled in the Game Scheduling thread.

    Notes for Week 2:
    • There were a few "suggestions" by some players that their opponent wasn't completely playing "sim" Mostly related to calling run plays up the middle and then swinging them outside and calling the same plays/defenses over and over (curls/outs and man/press). Remember, this is a sim league and part of being sim is not doing the same thing over and over. Mix up your plays and hot routes. Beat your opponent by outsmarting him not out abusing the AI :)
    • If you tell your opponent you will contact them at a set time to try and get your game in, CALL THEM/PM THEM/TAG THEM. If you set a date/time and do not show, especially the day of advance, you will be put on auto-pilot and your opponent will be able to play the CPU.
    • If you are unable to schedule your game for whatever reason, either allow your opponent to play the CPU or come to an agreement to have the game simmed. Sometimes you may be the last game and delaying the inevitable is just delaying your opponent and the league. Please be respectful to your opponent and league mates.
That is all for this week. Get after it and have a ball!

UPDATE: There has been some questions regarding the new trade approval process. So let me clarify:

When proposing a trade in the Trade Approval thread, you need to include the OVR of each player as each team sees it. These will most likely be different as each team has different schemes for different positions. The best way to find this information is to go to the roster screen and record the OVR of each player involved in the trade. Have your trading partner do the same from his PS3 and then share what you have with each other. Then, one of you post the trade and list each of the OVR for the players listed (the one you saw and the one they saw). If they happen to be the same, list it twice so that we know that.

It is pretty easy to find, but I think it may have been confusing to some when first posted.
