The 0-1 Vikings traveled to Seattle to try and pick up their first win of the season vs. the 0-1 Seahawks.

The game began with Seattle offense firing on all cylinders, with Austin engineering a masterful drive down the field to put his Hawks up 7-0. After stopping the Viking defense on the next drive, the Seahawks got down field again, this time assisted by a huge PI penalty which brought ball to the Vikings 1 yard line. From there 2nd year back Kenarion Fluellen punched it in to make it 14-0.
In the 2nd quarter the Viking got on track and Adrian Peterson ran in a TD to make score 14-6 as the Seahawks blocked the extra point. On the next drive, Vikings forced a punt a got the ball back. On their next drive, after a dump off to their FB, SS Donte Whitner came up and forced a fumble which was recovered by CB Josh Wilson. On the next play Austin threw another TD pass to WR Patrick Turner to make score 21-6. This was the score going into the half.

In the 3rd quarter Vikings received and scored a TD on a drive that practically lasted the entire quarter. They failed their 2 pt conversion so the score going into the 4th was 12-21 Seahawks.

In the 4th, the Seahawks flexed began flexing their running game on a tired Vikings defense. The same defense that wasn't allowing any yards in the 1st half on the ground was getting pushed around left and right in the 4th quarter. Capitalizing on some passive defense the Vikings managed to score 2 passing TDs in the quarter but it wasn't enough with their turnovers and their inability to stop the Seahawks ground game.

Final score was 38-26 with the players of game being the Seahawks secondary where starting player forced a turnover.

Editors Note: There were 4 disconnects during various spots of the 1st quarter before finishing this game. In each 4, the Vikings were dominating early. Jeremy didn't get many breaks in this game until it was too late. GG
