    A Much Needed Win
    Wolverines outlast Falcons, 24-17.
After last week's emotional loss, the Wolverines did just what many thought they'd do. Flutter against the Air Force Falcons. "We came out flat, almost like we didn't want to be there. All week before the game against Alabama, we said we were going to the National Championship game. With the loss to them, it felt like our hard work didn't mean squat" stated Denard Robinson after the game. The 2nd half against Air Force is when things got ugly. Coaches poured into the locker rooms and let loose on the players. Yelling profanities and throwing things around the room as they tried to get the boys fired up. That was what the Wolverines needed as they came out and destroyed AF 21-7 in the second half, 14 unanswered in the 4th quarter.
Denard was contained and bottled up on the ground as he rushed 13 times for 21 yards with a long of 10. He did what many thought he would have to do in order for Michigan to survive, pass. Robinson was 15-23 for 252 yards passing and 2 touchdowns with 0 interceptions. The biggest play of the game though came at the arm of Devin Gardner. DRob was hurt and on the bench. Gardner came in, we ran a iso up the middle to try and cover for Robinson to get back in. Forced to throw, Gardner hit TE Brandon Moore barely getting past the defensive back which brought us to 1st and goal and eventually a Fitzgerald Toussaint TD.
We still had to play defense and boy did we ever. Stopping the Falcons on 4 straight plays to give us the ball back to run the clock!

Panthers Gets devoured by Wolf Pack
    [IMG]
This was a bad game for the Panthers in their ACC opener. Pitt was never really in this game at all. The Panthers went 1 for 10 on third down attempts. What made it worse is Pitt could not stop NC States offense. They had 418 yards of total offense as compared to Pittsburgh's 168. Star running back Ray Graham had only 48 yards on 18 carries. Coach Krobot said after the game "We need to improve defense as a whole. We as need to block better for Graham. If he does well we will be much better off." Pitt will look to end the streak vs a very hard Hokies team.
    Final Score:
    NC State 38
    Pitt 3
    Poor Defense:

Tough game, Pitt. NC State has a tough offense. Gannon has more speed than I thought.

Boyd and the Tigers are relieved after a near mishap against Ohio State.

DEATH VALLEY- The Clemson Tigers welcomed The Ohio State Buckeyes to Death and Valley and for the first 2 quarters of the contest, started to think they made a great mistake. The Tigers moved the ball sparingly; converting on just a few third down attempts, while the Ohio St. offense keep the young Clemson defense off guard the entire half. Ohio St. would have a demanding 14-3 lead at the break.
The second half saw both the offense and defense of The Tigers come alive. The Clemson defense stepped up and forced key turnovers in the third and fourth quarters to give the offense more opportunities to get in the endzone. Clemson's QB Tahj Boyd, played like he did last season, which helped the Tigers clinch the ACC title. Boyd completed 19 of his 30 passing attempts for 320yds and 3 scores. The turnovers from The Buckeye offense and special teams proved to be the difference in the game as they had four to Clemson's 0. The win is Clemson's first of the season. Next up, The Miami Hurricanes travel to Death Valley for their ACC season opener.
    Final Score: 34 - 31 Clemson

    A rivalry is forged?
Florida escapes College Station with a 41-35 win
The Texas A and M Aggies proved that last weeks debacle was a fluke. They played the Gators tough and were up by double digits late in the third quarter. Florida has found their man at QB in Jacoby Brissette and a star was born in Freshman WR Latroy Pittman. They connected 6 times for 156 yards and 2 TD's. Pittman made plays when Florida needed them the most. Brissette known as mainly a pocket passer was asked to execute a power option play and did he ever taking it 56 yards in the 4th quarter to put the Gators up by 3. A FG would make it 6 shortly after and the Gators defense held on as the offense ran off the last 2 minutes of the clock. The Aggies got great efforts out of their QB SHowers and all-everything HB Christine Michael.
