Week 2 Summaries
Lets get them in!
Air Force had no answer for the Florida State rush attack. It was very obvious, the difference in speed for both teams. Final Score 49-28. Offense looked good moving the ball, but 1 INT and lack of a defense was the difference. The rebuilding process might take a little longer than expected.

Idaho senior star RB Deonte Jackson has trouble holding onto the ball and turns the ball over on a routine rush and then also again later in the qtr while returning a punt. The Vandals defense steps up though and holds WMU to 3 FG's in the 1st qtr. The Vandals manage a 22yd passing TD to Jackson

SDSU holds off Eastern Michigan
The Aztecs were able to withstand a late surge by the Eagles to win 23-14. After a scoreless 1st quarter, San Diego State found the endzone on 2 touchdown passes from backup quarterback J Bernards, who replaced Ryan Lindley who was lost for with. Bernards hit Player of the Game tight end T Smith on both touchdowns of 18 and 14 yards. Up next for San Diego State a trip to Colorado Springs to face the Air Force Academy in their Mountain West Conference opener. San Diego State improved to 2-0 while dropping Eastern Michigan to 1-1.
UNC 31-10 Utah
I think that was the score.
Utah's offense was poor, throwing a pick 6 to open scoring. They were also sacked 6 times
Utah's defense allowed a fumble recovery for a TD.
Coach said after the game, we were screwed on some calls, the pick 6 should have been pass interference on the CB. He noted even if the calls went normally that they still would have lost the game. No word from the NCAA on fine amount yet.
I lost. Drove the ball well on the first drive and a fumble at the 4 returned all the way by frisk got me po'd and i didnt play well rest of game. gg frisk

DEFENSE POWERS CHIPPY'S PAST WARRIORS, 34-10

CMU's offense was lead by an effective rush attack for more than 150 yards. The passing game was left to a need basis with only 9 passes with 7 completions.
Hawaii was able to rack more total yards with 507, but the Chippy's made big plays on defense, securing the win.
Up next for the Chippy's is the their first MAC conference game against rival Eastern Michigan. This will be a tough game for CMU. They will need to come away with a win to prove they are a legitimate power in the MAC
