Houston, Texas -- A big divisional game for both the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans took place in Reliant Stadium last night. A defensive battle turned in a low scoring affair with neither offense able to produce much either through the air or on the ground.

In the first quarter, the Texans would open the game with the ball and look dominant. The Titans D had absolutely no answer for them, or mainly, Andre Johnson on this possession. Johnson would eventually catch a 15 yard TD from QB Matt Shaub to put the Texans up 7-0. After a quick possession from the Titans, things could have gotten ugly early. Their defense would tighten up though and hold the Texans.

The second quarter was mostly quiet. The Titans did manage to get a field goal on the board to make it 7-3 at the half.

In the third quarter, the Titans would open with the ball. Their first drive was very much like the first half. Nothing very impactful, and they weren't moving the ball well at all. That is when HC Mike Munchak decided to get gutsy. Facing a 4th and 1 on the Texans' 48 yard line, with about 5 minutes left in the third, the Titans went for it. They would get the first down, and keep their drive alive. A couple plays later that gutsy decision would pay off, when RB Shonn Greene found the endzone and gave the Titans their first lead 10-7.

The foruth quarter was pretty dramatic. The Texans would get into field goal range, thanks in large part to Arian Foster making some key runs. Deandre Hopkins also had a long catch on this drive. They would eventually tie the game up at 10-10. After a huge defensive stop by the Titans defense at the 2 minute warning, they would get the ball back. Featuring a heavy dose of Shonn Greene, Chris Johnson left the game earlier in the quarter with an undisclosed injury, the Titans would march down to the Texans 30 yard line. Opting not to take a time out with the clock ticking and just 8 seconds left, Rob Bironas hurried onto the field for the game winning field goal. With just ONE second left on the clock, they got the snap off and Bironas drilled the 47 yarder. The Titans took this key matchup 13-10.

    Player of the Game:

K Rob Bironas - 1/1 Extra Point, 2/2 Field Goal, Game Winning 47 yarder
