Lamar Davis throws for over 400 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Wolverines beat the Fighting Irish by 17. This game was an offensive showcase. Davis completed passes to 9 different receivers, both teams scored every time they reached the red zone, there were 43 first downs, and over 1,000 yards gained in the game. These two teams look to be BCS Championship Game contenders and will be tough opponents all season long.

Wisconsin uses defense, and just enough out of the running game to win in a slight upset at home against #8 LSU. It was a nail biter to the very end in Madison.

#14 Washington blows out #17 Colorado in Boulder 42-14. The Huskies are not happy with how the voters treated them to start this year coming off of a wonderful season last year.
