I have a bye, but... enjoyed reading all the summaries. Post away!

Coleman was the first to get his shit done approximately 50 minutes after the advance, lol.

We went back to the roots here by running the ball and we also decided to get backup RB Orwin Smith some carries. Apparantly, NCState wasn't ready for the bruising RB who loves contact. Smith rushed for 118 yards on 12 carries and a score. This opened up some running room for star RB Marcus Wright. Wright had 182 yards and 3TD's rushing while catching a TD pass as well. We are still trying to work out the kinks with Collier (4rec, 99yds) and other speedster Tyler Melton (2rec, 33yds).

Defensively, we keyed in on their run/option like style and it worked well. LE Jason Peters had 7 tackles, 6 for loss and a sack. Taylor once again wrecked havoc all over the field with 10 tackles 3 for loss and a INT he returned for a TD. One guy to look out for is SO-CB Jemea Thomas. This kid is the likely successor to Taylor if we don't bring in a stud FS/SS. Thomas isn't nearly as tall but just as much a playmaker as Taylor. In fact, he translated to CB better than at safety where he was (gained +5 from FS to CB). Thomas had 7 tackles, an INT, FF and FR

    VA TECH 55 Duke 10

What can I say it was Duke! They suck! You could basically run every play and run your self into the endzone. JuJu had a nice game and was pulled at middle of 3rd quarter. He left with 4 TDs and 0 ints. He also had a sweet 45 yard run. Logan Thomas continues to dominate....the offense is becoming a bit one dimensional with Thomas being the main target. We are working on expanding the playbook and have found some new plays to work in.

Senior WR Roberts is upset at not getting many targets during the game...we hope he doesn't turn into Terrel Owens.

The defense played well with a some sacks and 2 ints.....cant tell much as it is DUKE!

    ADVANCE!!

Bama attention on recruiting in off week.

Alabama with a bye this week has 2 weeks to game plan for Top 25 opponent Penn St. Penn St. and Alabama closed the 2010 season in week 14 with the Tide barely pulling away late in the 4th quarter.

The rest of Alabama's week has been spent combing the scouting reports of potential recruits. The state of Alabama is not nearly as loaded as it has been in the last 2 years. This has forced the coaches to hit the road. An off week is the perfect oppurtunity to catch some early season High School action and see these kids up close and personal. Head coach Jfosh is expected to jet off to Texas to catch some action there.
