Sorry guys, in a rush to class and didn't have time to put this week's matchups up, but wanted to know we advanced. If someone can put the games on here, great. If not, I'll do it when I get home.

CyHawk Trophy Stays in Iowa City
The Iowa Hawkeyes had another slow start this week against inner state rival Iowa State. The Hawkeyes would end the first quarter down 10-0. After an Iowa State field goal, Alex Hill would connect on a 68 yard touchdown throw to Jacob Hillyer. After a quick 3 and out for the Cyclones, Hill would again connect with Hillyer this time on a last minute hall mary for 78 yards. The Hawkeyes defense step up after getting their butts chew out during half time. Iowa would score 14 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter. 1 from both Jim Pittman and Jordan Canzeri. Canzeri would rush for a total of 142 yards on 20 carries. Iowa State would attempt to make it a close game when driving down into Hawkeyes territory the defense would step up and only allow 3 points. Micheal Robinson would connect on a 31 yard field goal to give Iowa a 31-20 lead. But on the next drive for IAST Ross Brown would pick off IAST QB Sam Richardson, for a 23 yard pick six. Iowa will take on Stanford next week.

Auburn Beats up on Miss ST, Frazier throws 4 TDs but also 3 picks, runs for over 100 & 2 scores as well, Mason does well on the ground and Coats has a big game. Defense was good getting to the QB in the 2nd half running cover 1 & my ball-hawk D out of 4-3 our D-Line was still getting good pressure but it helped that there QB could not make up his mind to throw the ball and tried to tuck and run a lot ending in a sack

Texas Win Streak Extended to 16 With 42-3 Win Over BYU
The Texas Longhorns overcame a sluggish start to beat the BYU Cougars 42-3. The Horns were led by QB David Ash who was 15 of 17 for 304 yards and two touchdowns. HB Malcolm Brown was keyed on by the Cougar defense but was still able to gain 121 yards on 25 carries, while finding the endzone twice. The special teams got in on the scoring too, as CB Quandre Diggs broke a tackle and outran the Cougar coverage team on a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown late in the first half. That return seemed to really spark the Longhorns going in to halftime, leading to a 28 point second half.
Next week, the Longhorns will go on the road for the first time this season to do battle with West Virginia.
