Man. Preseason I was the 2nd highest ranked CUSA team and now look at all these scrubs that have jumped me with wins over top teams. Bullsh. Guess I'll just have to earn my ranking by beating you fools.

    Holy crap.

Vandals manage to eek out the win over Michigan. 45-44 in 2OT. I just couldn't run the ball AT ALL. 34 rushes for 37 yards. Pathetic. Rice threw for 587 yards on 54 attempts. I had a comfortable lead the whole game and then at the end they just started cheating. Ridiculous interceptions, the quarterback breaking 4 tackles on his way to a score, HOLDING calling two of my TD's back. I felt dirty when they scored in the 2nd OT and were about to tie it, and then missed the extra point. Game over.

0:40 TD Eastern Michigan Steve Allen WR #84 26 Yd Pass from Richard Graham QB #9 (28-41)

MVP: WMU HB Brandon Powers 20 Car 245 Yds 5 TDs 1 Reception 35 Yards

The Turning Point: Eastern Michigan really stopped the run in the for 2 and a half quarters and was able to force several fumbles derailing drives in the first half. A little more than halfway through the 3rd that all came crashing down as Brian Powers took over and scored 3 unanswered TD's on the way to a 245 yard performance.

Key To The Game: The ground game was key as Eastern Michigan put up a meager 22-66-1 line while Western Michigan went 37-272-5. Eastern also turned the ball over 4 times to Western's single TO in the 1st two minutes of the game.

Looking Ahead: Next week #10 Notre Dame comes to Kalamazoo to try to avenge an embarrassing loss at home last season.

    MTSU 38
    Indiana Losers 19

Hero: Chris Fuqua 22-45(10 wr drops) 386 yards
IU's famous Hoosiers chant was replaced by a less familiar one this past week
    Lo-Lo-Lo- LO-SERS!
MTSU went into Bloomington and defeated the scum of the NCAA 38-19. Sophomore QB Chris Fuqua, pronounced FUk-u-uh, finished 22-45 386 yards 4 TDs-1 INT. His stats wouldve been even better had Blue Raider WR's not dropped 10 passes in the game(seriously.. 10 drops for my WRs.) Senior standout DT Brian Anderson had 2 TFL, 1 sack, and a defensive TD for the Blue Raiders. Last year, I had one of the best rushing attacks in the conference with Sam Tanner running over multiple defenders every carry. Now, I'm pretty much guaranteed to finish last in the conference in rushing as my only returning RB sucks along with my converter WR. My best rusher by far is my FB and hopefully he will be able to bruise his way thru CUSA defenses and get some hard yards. We will see soon as next up is the conference schedule.

Next Week: MTSU faces division rival Kent State in what should be a better game than last years ass beating.

Just yanking your chain. I've always had a soft spot for Purdue football, at least. Going to Tech, I like to root for all the air raids, at least before everybody started running the spread.

Thats weird because I always liked watching Tech when Leach was there because of their offense... Purdue used to be a similar offense but now they are more of a spread option read offense than an air raid offense. Brees used to ball as an air raid QB. Do you run an air raid offense with Idaho? I run Purdue's offense on NCAA with MTSU but its just a coincidence.
