    Week 3 Atlanta@New Orleans

Atlanta jumped out and was holding the Saints in check for the first 3 Quarters building a 31-7 lead. The coach decided to pull starters entering the 4th quarter to avoid injury and give his backups valuable playing time. The Saints march down the field to score a TD to make it 31-13, and to the Falcons surprise went for 2. They were successful, and made it 31-15. Falcons get the ball back and on the the first play Norwood fumbles and the Saints pick it up and return it for a TD. After another successful 2 pt conversion 31-23. The Falcons decided to put their starters back in at this point as the experiment was not working too well. The Saints manage to get a much needed 3rd and 2 stop and force the Falcons to punt. Drew Brees throws a lob pass to the corner of the endzone with two defenders all over the WR but somehow the WR comes down with the ball to tie the game up at 31-31 with 1 minute left in the game. Norwood making up for his previous fumble takes the insuing kickoff 103 yards for a TD to make it 38-31, and all but seal the Falcons victory. But SUPERMAN Brees is dropping pass after pass in triple coverage all the way down the field to tie the game back up at 38-38and force OT.
The Falcons won the toss, and the rest was history. Mixing it up with Turner on the ground, and some safe short passes, the Falcons moved the ball down the field and score the winning TD. 44-38, and not allowing Brees an opportunity to have a Frank Reich type comeback.
