The Ravens stood up again to their division rivals but in the end the turnovers were too much to over come.
The Bengals were coming off a heartbreaking loss at New England in the previous week got off fast in this game with the hungry Ravens. The Bengals go off to a 10-0 lead quicjk as Andre Caldwell got loose for a TD. The Ravens however would get some TO's of their own and quickly tie the game at 10. Eddie Royal would find his way to the endzone at the end of the first half to make it 17-10.
The Ravens came out fired up in the second half as Flacco really started to heat up and Terrell Suggs was in Carson Palmer's face most of the day. Palmer even was knocked out for a series. THe Ravens would put the pressure on and take the lead 20-17 to end the 3rd quarter with some smart passing. The Bengals however would flex a little muscle in the 4th closing out the game on a 17-0 run with runs for TD's from LeSean McCoy and Peyton Hillis. A huge play in the game came when the Ravens still had momentum and were coming hard after Palmer on a blitz. Palmer read this and waited as long as he could and found Caldwell again beating 0 coverage with no one to be found and making a huge 50 yd catch fully extended to set up a 4th quarter TD. Another huge play was on a big 3rd down in the face of pressure Palmer finding a quite Chad Ocho on a pass down to the 1 yd line. The Cincy D would pick off Flacco 2 times late and hold on 34-20. GG game Web those TO's again killed you...
