    Green Machine Upstages Browns

CLEVELAND- Coming off of two impressive wins against divisional rivals in the opening weeks, many saw this game against the Browns as a potential letdown game for Jacksonville.

The only people who were let down were the home fans in attendace, as Jacksonville would execute in all phases to near perfection to run away from Clevland 45-10. The Jaguars have been so impressive in the opening three weeks than fans have started referring to this unit as 'The Green Machine'.

"I like it," said Coach Dunlap when asked about the new moniker. "Has a nice ring to it. Unfortunately they don't crown champions by good nicknames. We still have 13 more games to play here in the regular season. I'm going to just try to focus on that for now."

The Jags certainly looked robotic at points in their performance this week as they rolled to 38 first half points, including three Drew Brees touchdown passes. Receiver Steve Smith caught two of those to improve his season total to five, tied for the league lead.

The Jacksonville defense has been spectacular this season, now holding their opponents to just over 15 points per game. Their dominance has been brought on in part by a new found pass rush which had been missing most of last season. Today it was second year linebacker Dylan Uzsakiewicz who keyed the defense with two sacks and a forced fumble that he also returned for a touchdown.

"Dylan has been spectacular since we gave him the starting spot this season," Dunlap said. "His speed and ball awareness on the outside have brought a new dimention to this defense. I expect him to have many more days like today as his career goes on."

The offense has been equally as impressive through three weeks, putting up 131 points for an average of nearly 42 points per game. Drew Brees hasn't attempted more than 17 passes in a game this season, which means that the running game has taken much of the workload this year. Today the duo of Maruice Jones-Drew and Rashad Jennings carried to ball 25 times for 165 yards. Jones-Drew has his third straight 100 yard rushing performance with 126 yards and two touchdowns.

The stars have aligned so far this season in Jacksonville, but they have a tough test next week when they travel to Tennessee. The Titans will certainly have revenge on their minds after the 52-9 pounding they took from Jacksonville in Week 1.
