Week 3 Players of the Week

Week 3's Legacy Players of the Week features the league's first repeat performer as well as the first QB to receive the award.

Quarterback Greg McElroy stepped up with a near-perfect performance to guide Alabama to a win. The redshirt senior went 14-for-15, throwing for 145 yards and three touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Week honors were given to Penn State's senior middle linebacker Chris Colasanti. In addition to his game-high eight tackles in PSU's win, Colasanti also scooped up a fumble and took it back for a touchdown.

For the second time this season, senior kicker Wes Bynum has earned special teams Player of the Week accolades. This week, Bynum knocked down a game-winning field goal from 44-yards out with under a minute to play in Auburn's victory against UCLA.
