Oakland, CA - Ball control was the name of the game in week 3 as the Colts (1-1) traveled to Oakland to take on the Raiders (2-0). Turnovers plagued both teams as there were 10 total turnovers committed throughout the game. The most detrimental of which came in the 4th qtr with the score tied, 20-20, as Kian McKenzie coughed up the rock at the Colts two-yard line attempting to scramble for the end zone before the 2 minute warning. After taking points off of the board, the turnover would lead to overtime between the two teams. Oakland won the toss in the extra period, only to have Kian McKenzie turn the ball over to the Colts once more. This time through the air as Vontae Davis intercepted a pass intended for Moore at mid-field. The turnover proved costly as Luck finished things off with a TD catch-and-run to Egnatuk for the game winner. The Colts were very lucky to have come away with this all-important OT win on the road.

Good game, Chris. Close games like these are always a blast!

Nothing pretty production-wise, but here are some highlights from the game...

McKenzie actually was benched at about the 5 minute mark in the fourth after his third INT. 2nd year QB Christian Burke led the comeback and eventually it was him that fumbled after trying to piggy back two Olineman on the scramble. That McFadden fumble inside FG range under 30 secs to go was a heartbreaker. I was gonna just kick the 45 yarder but decided to run one more play, bad move on my part!

    GG Doug it was fun!
