    Week 3 SCORES

Great job on the summaries guys. I love seeing the activity. I know we are certainly slim compared to the start here at TF, but this is still good for it being the middle of May.

BTW, post your week 3 summaries here.

#2 LSU travels to Ann Arbor and drops the Michigan Wolverines to 1-2. LSU jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the 1st half, with :13 left in the half, Vincent Smith was able to score from 2 yards out, to make the score 21-7. Michigan looked to be back in the game since they were going to receive the 2nd half kickoff and could potentially cut the score to 21-14, but Player of the Game, Jordan Jefferson, was able to get the Tigers to the Michigan 39 yard line on two completions and D Helton kicked a 56-yard field goal on the last play of the half.
Michigan moved the ball efficiently on their first possession of the 2nd half and a little over two minutes into the 2nd half, Mike Shaw made it a 10-point game with 3-yard touchdown run. 1:43 later, Jefferson threw his 4th touchdown of the game to make the score 31-14. Tate Forcier found Junior Hemmingway for a 16-yard touchdown, but that would be Michigan's last score. Michael Ford scored on a 2-yard run to ice the game for LSU, making the final score 38-21. LSU improves to 2-0 and will be off next week.
