    We have advanced.

    Advance Schedule:
    -when everyone is ready or
    -Tuesday 11amEST
Note: Please remember, it is has always been the rule that if you play your game, unless explicitly posted, it is assumed recruiting is done. I have no way to know your recruiting left.

    Week Notes:
-Kent beats UNLV. UNLV board considers firing UNLV coach after time management... it was that bad.
-SMU gets beat down... like.... whoah
-people losing or barely winning. game has gotten tougher apparently
-UVA gets big and much-needed win.

Terps handle Huskies Easily on the road

After seeing the scores of the first few games here in week three, I wasa little worried. But the Terps played a complete game from start to finish, with the D playing lock down d. Holding the Huskies under 100 yards passing and causing three turnovers. Is Danny Obrien finally figuring it out? On a day where he became the all time Terps TD leader with 50 on the career, he throws for 259 yards, 2 tds and no ints for the second straight week. The running game didnt do alot for Maryland but they converted some third downs and kept the chains moving. Bad news though, speedy WR Devin Burns was lost for 5 weeks with a torn shoulder but fellow WR Adrian Coxson stepped in nicely, catching 5 balls for 106 yards and two td's. Burns was leading the team in catching before the injury.

Player of the Game:Adrian Coxson, WR

Clemson gets by UNC, awaits USF

The Tigers defense is still a work in progress as they gave up 221 yards rushing to the Tar Heels. Fortunately, the Tiger offense more than made up for it by amassing 565 yards in a 46-24 victory on Saturday. The game was tighter than the score indicated as a Tar Heel touchdown made it a 30-24 game with 4 minutes to go. The Tigers would respond by scoring the final 16 points to pull away for the win.

Tajh Boyd threw for 358 and a pair of td's. Mike Bellamy ran it for 162 yards. DeAndre Hopkins caught 8 balls for 101 yards and a td. Sammy Watkins caught 4 balls for 105 yards and a td.

The Tigers travel to Tampa next week to face the USF Bulls.

Wyoming beats SMU 10-9 in one ugly game that ends on a 57 yard FG attempt by SMU that the computer kicks for him. On 4th and 15 with 30 seconds left, SMU lines up for a FG attempt only to decide not to kick once he was iced. SMU tried to let the clock run down and take the delay of game penalty to give themselves at least a reasonable shot, but the computer goes ahead and kicks the FG (directly left, no where close to the uprights) instead of letting the clock run to zero. Tough way to lose, but glad it was him and not me. ;)
