Colorado probably should have lost this game. Nebraska came out and jumped to a 13-0 lead on the Buffaloes, and Colorado could just never get anything going on offense. Finally, the Buffaloes got a drive going and topped it off with a QB scramble for a touchdown. Nebraska would answer and push the lead to 20-7. The Buffaloes would finally get a field goal to end the half, and just be down 20-10. In the 2nd half, we'd see much of the same. Colorado unable to block the Nebraska defenders. They would start the quarter off though with a field goal to make it a 7 point game. Nebraska would answer back and score with 10 seconds left in the quarter to push it to 14. Colorado opened the 4th with a touchdown and then got an interception that put them in scoring range. Unfortunately, Colorado would throw the pick right back and Nebraska would take it back for a touchdown to push the lead to 14 points with under 5 minutes remaining. Colorado would get a quick score, then for whatever reason, Nebraska threw and was picked off. Colorado would punch it again to tie the game. They would then force a punt, and get into field goal range to kick a 36 yard field goal with no time remaining to walk out with a huge rivalry win. It's going to be a tough year for the Buffaloes if they don't learn to block better.

Note- Don't have a clue when Nebraska started running a no huddle offense but they ran it the entire game. I wasn't expecting it at all.

The wildcats are really looking to right the ship this season, winning in style at home against the red wolves of arkansas state. In a game that saw the cats down 24-21 at the half, Coach baker and his boys came out in the second half on fire outscoring the wolves 45-10. U of A got a career day from former espn top 150 recruit Clifton Hall who rushed for 142 yards and a whopping 6 td's, "he's finally playing at the level that we anticipated and as a result our offense is firing on all cylinders", said Coach Baker. In mop up duty backup HB Patrick Onwuasor had a career day rushing for 127 yds and 2 tds. The Wildcat d is showing that it is much improved, although they gave up 282 yards and 2 td's in the air, their 4 ints and 1 pick six made up for the yards given up. The Wildcats look to continue on this winning path when they open up conference play against Coach Fuzzyl0gic and his UCLA Bruins, Coach Baker told espn's Rachel Nichols" Coach Fuzzy has had our number for the last few seasons, so we're hoping we can come out and finally put a mark in our w column".
