Penn State Survive Battle, Beat NavyAfter Falling to a 17-0 Deficit, PSU Found Victory Penn State 24 Navy 17 State College, PA - The Penn State Nittany Lions came off a bye week anxious to return to the field. In week 1, they opened with a spectacular showing against the Ohio Bobcats and were ready to take on the Midshipmen of Navy on Military Appreciation Weekend. The Nittany Lions were nearly too confident as Navy came to be appreciated. The Midshipmen started with the ball and moved down the field, converting on key 3rd downs with the passing game. Gee Gee Greene showed his spark and scored on a 53 yard burner, giving Navy a 7-0 lead. Penn State would go 3 and out on their first offensive possession and the Midshipmen capitalized. Greene yet again showed his flair and on a 38 yard pass from QB T. Miller, Navy was up 14-0 after 1 in Happy Valley. Penn State finally found some success and HB Silas Redd put Penn State on the board with a 7 yard scamper before the end of the first. Navy then again moved down the field and notching a 52 yard FG by K S. Picchini, gave Navy a 17-7 lead early against the Nittany Lions. Penn State would not let them light up the score board again. After putting up 3 more points before the half, Penn State came out in the 3rd quarter and played spectacular defense, keeping Navy at bay. TE Kevin Haplea would give PSU a share of the lead with a 16 yard reception from Paul Jones. After a series of back and forth defensive stands, Penn State would move down the field as time began to tick away. With under 2 minutes left, Paul Jones found Haplea again, laying out for the go ahead score. The Penn State defense did the rest, securing a 24-17 victory and keeping PSU undefeated on the season. Next up for Penn State, a showing against the Maryland Terps.
Nail-Biter in Clemson!
Hurricanes bow out at the end to Clemson 31-28. DEATH VALLEY- The Clemson Tigers won their second game in as many weeks with a 31-28 win over the Miami Hurricanes. Miami would score first on their first possession with key conversions on the drive and capped it off with 9 yard TD pass from Stephen Morris. The Tigers would stiffen up on both offense and defense scoring 17 unanswered points to take a 17-7 lead into the fourth quarter. However, that's when "Super Draw" became a deadly weapon. The Cains would open up the flood gates rushing for nearly 175yds in the quarter alone. This effort lead to 21 fourth quarter points. Down 4 with :44 seconds remaining, Coach BG dialed up a play to get the ball to Mr. Reliable, WR Sammy Watkins. "I have no idea why they kept single covering him. He was the only consistent thing we had on offense all day! - Coach BGOn the very first play, QB Tahj Boyd came out with a play action fake which drew the LB's in and the corner was all alone, which turned out to be no contest as Watkins burned the Cane defense for 72yds and his fourth TD of the game. Next up for the Tigers, a showdown with the #7 Florida State Seminoles in Death Valley!
EVENLY MATCHED . . . GATORS ESCAPE 14-6 Hammond shows off some speed In a game where all statistical categories were almost dead even. It was the big play before half time that changed the shape of the game. Jacoby Brisette was able to hit Frankie Hammond Jr. on a strike that he would race 80 yards in total for the score. The Gators were content to play the field position game as well as their Volunteer counterparts. Both teams most ran it but both defenses gave very little light for the backs. Coach Did: "Whenever you play Coach onaradio34 you know you arent gonna score much. We were able to get some key first downs here and there and then the big play to Frankie I think really gave us some confidence on the road. I'm just glad Coach Radio didnt expose our corners more than what he did. He's a helluva coach and brings back integrity to this rivalry!"
Pitt Fails Sort 27-24This was by far the toughest lost for the Panthers. The defense just could not come up with a key stop when they needed it the most. The game would start off poorly for Pitt as they would give up a 30 yard TD pass from Logan Thomas to DJ Coles. The next score would be on a pass again this time it was a 6 yard TD to Marcus Davis to make it 14-0 VT. Pitt would finally get some points on a 40 yard FG to cut the lead to 14-3. The biggest play for Pitt came on a 61 yard TD pass as time expired to make it only a 4 point game a half. Pitt would get the ball back coming out of half and they would drive down the field to take the lead. It would be capped off on a 2 yard TD run by Ray Graham. In the forth quarter the Hokies would tie the game with a 39 yard FG. Pitt would respond with another great drive which was finished off by Ray Graham's second TD. For the rest of the game the Panthers D would fail again. They would give up the game tying TD and game winning FG all in the matter of 1:48. Final Score: Pitt (0-3) (0-2) 24 VT (2-1) (2-0) 27 Play of The Game
This play came with less than 20 seconds left in the game it set up the game winning FG.
Initiating Operation Dumbass CB in 3...2...1...
Did you user control that CB or did the AI do that?
Unless hes usering him from the start of the play I dont see how that could have been a "user" error..
You remember what play you called? If it happens again, write down the play and take a video and/or a few pics and I'll bug it to EA.
Fuck waiting...send it now...
They have to know details like the play call first to diagnose it, moron.
You're a Gamechanger...shouldn't you know everything by now?
cover 6 i think dime
well if he had flat responsibilities on the cover 2 side of the play he should have been playing underneath that WR in a trail technique almost and the Safety should have been there. Now if he was on the cover 4 side of the play then there is no way he should have let that guy run buy him because he has deep quarter responsibility
