Pitt Gets Ran Over by Hokies
    [IMG]
Pitt would end up in this game getting the lead to start the game but they would never really in it. The Hokies were just too tough. Michael Holmes for VT would run for over 200 yards and 3 TDs. Two of the Panthers WR would go for over 100 yard and Mark Myers would throw for 394 yards but it just was not their night. The closest Pitt would come to tying the game was in the 4th quarter. The Panther would get the ball back but Myers would throw an INT his 2nd of 3 on the day.

    Final Score:
    VT 48
    Pitt 38
    Play of the Game
This sack fumble would come early in the game when Pitt was down 7-3. It really took some air out of the Panthers at the time.

Florida Wins in a rainy Swamp
After scoring 49 points in a loss to Clemson, the Gators could only muster 10 points vs the Vols. Luckily after giving up 52 points to Clemson the Gator defense responded by holding the Vols to 0 points in the contest. Coach Sdid was looking around for someone to make a play. LaTroy Pittman?? No 1 catch 15 yards. Andre Debose who has returned a punt and a missed FG for TD's??? No he was silent too. Enter: Will Thomas the freshman from Alabama. Thomas would take an option read 63 yards for a score to put the Gators up two scores in the 4th quarter. The Gator defense was the story though as they just found ways to make plays when needed. Ronald Powell continued to prove that he is ready for the next level adding a sack and an interception.
    Coach Did
"I will say it again, Coach onaradio34 or Fulmer, has us figured out on offense. We struggle to generate anything against the Vols. We were blessed to have the kid we thought was the best playmaker in the country last year sign with us. Will Thomas saved us today and I hope he tastes this success and becomes hungry for more."
