    Week 3: Temple @ Michigan

With optimism in the air, the Temple Owls took their 2-0 record to Ann Arbor to face the Wolverines of Michigan. What seemed like a great start for the Owls as they scored on their first possession with a 1 of Bernard Pierce's 3 TD runs. But, first half was not one to remember for the Owls... Michigan put 28 points in the first half.

Yet, with something to prove in the second half the Temple Owls came out charged and rode Pierce to two more TD's. Thus getting the score back to within 7 until Chester Stewart hit Joe Jones on a quick curl, but was blasted by Justin Turner of Michigan... Joe fumbled while Michigan picked it up. Michigan got 6 points after the fumble and with Temple driving again the Wolverine defense was once again able to make a stop with an interception by DE Roh who returned it for a touchdown.

"Just tough to understand... both our offense and defense were sub par in the first half, but then in the second half we turn it on. We just need to make it a whole game. Yet, it is still good to get down and fight to come back... shows that are kids want to play", said Coach Legacy about his teams almost comeback.

Temple now 2-1 looks to take on another powerhouse as they head to Lincoln and face the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
