Tough Defense and Number 1 Ranked Run Offense Keep Titans Rolling 23-10 Over Colts

Week 3 pitted the Titans in a rematch of week 1 against the colts. Coach Juan and the Colts felt they had the answer for CJ and the Titans run game as they seemed very confidant in pre game talks. Coach Ox and the titans needed to keep TE Clark under check and prevent the quick scores for a similar result of the first game.

Both defenses showed up to play in the first half as no offensive touchdowns were scored. The colts had a couple nice drives but fumbles in the Titan Redzone kept the colts from even scoring a point in the first half. The titans drove well but also stalled in the redzone and could only add two FGs from K Bironas in the half. Halftime score 6-0 Titans.

The titans controlled the third quarter as well, after a 77 yard TD run by CJ to start the quarter, the titans relaxed and seemed to move the ball a bit better. The other CJ scored his second TD of the season as well, FB Carey Johnson rumbled in late in the 3rd from 4 yards out to make the score at the end of the 3rd 20-0 Titans.

The Colts tried to start a comeback early in the 4th with a FG by Coker to get on the board 20-3 but couldnt do much agaist the Titans stiff defense. After another titans FG bought the score to 23-3 late, the colts drove for a respect TD. On the very last play of the game, without taking TO that the colts had, Colts HB Thomas squeezed in from a couple yards out to make the final score a respectable 23-10 Titans.

GG Juan, you getting better as the weeks go bye. You did a great job guarding CJ for all the game except one play but unfortunately thats all CJ needs to score. Good job on not forcing the interceptions this game, it could have gone either way. GL the rest of the season buddy.
