    Arkansas - 59
    Arky St. - 35

Well fuck me in the goat ass. This one wasn't very fun, as my defense was RAPED up and down the field. When you're a solid D grade in every category, you're bound to have difficulty stopping teams, and this game was no exception. Jimmy Bell threw some terrible throws, and hasn't gone one game in his career without one. We actually hung with Arkansas for the 1st half, and received the ball to start the 2nd half tied at 21-21, when I had 3 straight turnovers and before you knew it, I was down 49-21 in the same quarter. Oh well, Arky State can't wait to get conference play up and running so we can get our asses kicked even more.

Utah State Wins @ #19 Arizona State 48-21

After 4 straight punts combined to open the game, a pick-6 by Utah State's Willie Harris sparked a dominant first half for the Aggies. Utah State would score twice more in the first quarter, on a 44 yard pass from Adrian Sapp to Kenny Hall, and a 19 yard pass to Joseph Jones who made a one handed catch in the back of the end-zone. In the second quarter, the Aggies would get a field goal, followed by a 74 yard TD pass from Sapp to Hall with 1:09 to go in the half to take a 31-0 lead. USU had completely shut down 4th listed hiesman watch QB Hudson, until the star finally marched the offense down the field in a quick 40 second TD drive to give Arizona State some momentum before half. However, on the ensuing kick-off, Kenny Hall brought back the kick for 87 yards for a TD, his 3rd of the game, and a 38-7 lead at half.

Sapp capped off the 1st string's route on the final play of the 3rd quarter, connecting to freshman Courtney Davis for a 14 yd TD for the only score of the quarter to take a 45-7 lead. With the 2nd string in, the offense scored 3 points, but the defense gave up 14 points in the final quarter to make the final 48-21.

Player of the game honors go to WR Kenny Hall, for 6 catches, 183 yards (90 YAC) 2 TDs, and an 87 yard KR for a TD for 3 total Touchdowns. QB Adrian Sapp also completed 15 of 21 passes for 348 yards and 4 TDs. The run game was stopped all game long, managing just under 60 yards on 24 carries. ASU Hiesman candidate Hudsen completed 25-37 for 300 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT.

    #22 Western Michigan 44
    #3 USC 20

In this nationally broad casted game Western Michigan continues it's winning ways and hopes for a huge bump in the polls next week. USC scored first on a 65 yard TD bomb but WMU equaled it with a 65 yard TD pass of there own. The score was tied at 14-14 early in the 2nd but WMU took control scoring 23 unanswered to route the Trojans.

Adrian Pollock slipped accuracy wise but still goes 15/31 for 343 yards and 4 TD which was good enough to earn player of the game honors. Travis Ruffin and Zach Dennis split carries with 14 a piece. Dennis was able to run for 5 more yards but Ruffin found the end zone. Cory May finally got on track with 5 grabs for 131 yards and 1 score while Lucas Wilkerson continues to ball out with 108 yards and 2 scores on only 3 grabs. On defense SR DE Beau Brown was the difference maker with 6 tackles, 2 sacks and a FF.

Next week the 2 highest rated C-USA teams square off with UAB coming to Kalamazoo.

    Army Edges Kent State
Things looked grim for Army as they were down 21-7 in the 2nd quarter and punting after a stalled drive to Kent State looking to give them the ball in good field position. The punt was muffed though by Kent State and Army recovered and capitalized later that drive to stabilize themselves and let each other know it was still a game within reach. Both teams were plagued by turnovers, with Kent State forcing 2 turnovers, and Army forcing 5. Army picked QB Charlie Denman 3 times on the day and also stole one from backup Mark Johnson.
Kent scored to tie the game late in the 4th giving Army the ball back. Army turned the ball over afterwards though, but Kent turned it right back over giving Army the ball with 30 something second left to work with. Army in similar fashion to last year's matchup drove downfield and got within field goal range. With 2 ticks left Army's kicker Fotenot once again broke Kent States back, this time on a 40 yarder that sailed through with little room to spare.
    Army - Michael Banks 17- 26 325 1TD 2INT
    Kent - Charlie Denman 27 - 36 441 4TD 3INT
    Army - Larry Clark 18 142YDS 2TD
    Kent - Howard Brown 7 17YDS 1TD
    Army - Tyler Hall 7 155YDS 1TD
    Kent - Gerald Johnson 11 234YDS 2TD
    Army - Brad Skinner 7TKL 3INT
    Kent - Jerry Martin 5TKL 1INT
I wont even list my punters stats because theres no way they can hang with Speck's :D.
Army POTG was easily Brad Skinner with his 3INT that helped keep Army in the game. Army faces ranked Utah State and coach steamer next week.

ULM beat LSU 38 to 31

This was another game that a defensive player on the Warhawk team decided that he was going to take over and carry the team on his back. Kevin Alverez had 3 interceptions, including a 103 yard Pick 6 in the 3rd quater when LSU was looking to take the lead after a Warhawk fumble inside the 20.

Klye Mckinney had a solid game based on who he was playing he had 391 yards and 4 TDs, but did throw 2 more interceptions and had a fumble. This is something that coach Speck is keeping an eye on. He said he will not hesitate to pull the starter and bring in the back up if he keeps giving the ball away. Once again the warhawks could not run the football most of the game but Brian Jennings did manager a few nice runs in the 2nd half when they counted.

And now what you have all been waiting for...

    Kevin Jefferson had 3 punts
    43.4 average
    38 net
0 TB and long of 49
He also went 1 for 2 on his FG attempts
He did not manage a tackle

Week 4 the 3-0 Warhawks face Ark St.
