You requested Ohio State. Penn state was your week 1 showcase game for winning your division. Quit complaining about your schedule like a blonderedheaded stepchild.

So there is a user game does this mean we will get longer than 24 hours? I'd like to take my van out tonight but I won't have time if I have to play OSU.

In statistically one of the biggest wins in Lobos history, New Mexico takes down Fresno State 44-7

It felt like everything went right, and we strung together 4 complete quarters. Dustin Walton looked great throwing the football completing 60% of his passes with 291 yards and 3 scores before giving way to Stmp Godfrey late. It's no secret who Walton's favorite target has been this season and with good reason. the 6-7 athletic freak that is Chad Green has been on a tear making plays every week. This was a career high for the big fella as he racked up 184 yards on 6 catches with a 53 yard TD. Sophomores Eric Thorson and Dylan Rodgers hauled in a TDs of their own as well. A week after no WRs recorded any receptions, Walton hit 5 different WRs today.
LaDarrius Thompson had one of his best games but a loss on his final carry bumped him back down to 99 yards with one TD.

Defense continues to play lights out football, recording 5 sacks, 3 INTs and recovering a fumble on a kick that was forced by my punter! On top of the 4 turnovers, The Bulldogs also failed on all 3 4th down attempts. Still in a hybrid 4-3/3-4 The DEs have been playing better then ever expected and Dick Hugine recorded 3 sacks in the game. The run defense was stout all day. Bulldog starter EJ Schexnayder averaged 2 yards on his 13 carries and with sack yardage included, it goes down as -18 team rush yards!

big win for the Lobos and it puts them above 500 for the first time in 5 years!

    Stat of the week!
I outscore opponents 41-10 in the first quarter this year and 27-10 in the 4th quarter

Memphis hangs on to take down Virginia 38-31.

Close game the whole way through, but no drama like I had last week. When they brought it to within 7 in the 4th quarter, I returned the ensuing kickoff 91 yards for a TD and to give me a 2 score lead again. Looking forward to getting a bye week next week as hopefully my starting HB and top CB can heal up and be ready to go for the conference opener at Western Michigan in two weeks.

I jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead based on a pick that I ran back to the 10 and a fumble recovery deep in their territory. I pretty much had to hold on for my life in the 2nd half had a chance to tie but failed to convert a 4th down and I ran out the clock on the final drive and kicked a clinching field goal. Their defense dominated my offense for the most part but their offense was pretty piss poor scheme wise.

Yea if they run halfback dives against me every play they win the game easily but they ran so many dumb pass plays that they never got it going.

    WMU-10

The D started the scoring off when freshman superstar OLB Justin Sherman returned an interception 86 yards for a score.

I then gave up their lone TD when I was manned up on the RB with a safety and saw the QB getting sacked and pulled my guy off. Well, the QB shrugged off the DE and hit the HB on a Wheel route up the sideline vs a 6 man blitz and the HB caught it 30 yards deep with nothing but green in front of him. So, outside of me, my D played excellent. DE Dooley (3 solo, 2 sack, FF) had another great game as well and leads the country with 9 sacks already (next closest is 4).

Then came the running game. McKinney (9-91 1 TD) got the first one but Dri Archer (9-111 2 TD, 5 rec-69 1 TD) was right behind, scoring the next 21 points of the game. Kent showed a new wrinkle with Archer sometimes playing receiver.

    Bring on the Lobos.
