and I did it without Cochran. (check the Injury Report)

Their FleXbox One kept them around and we saw a tie at 7 in the 2nd quarter before I moved DE Jakob Lamb (juco ATH/LB once upon a time) to LB and another DT to DE. That helped stifle GT's ridiculous FB for the rest of the game. They only scored again in garbage time. Whadyagonnado, it's an option team. Pulled the stars (the ones still playing) in the 3rd and the starters for the 4th quarter.

Shaun Griffin caught 8 balls for 212 YDS and 4 TD. That has got to be his best game since a man named Franklin started at QB (ah the glory years).

EJ Hayden went 22-38 for 437 YDS, 4 TDs and 0 turnovers. SO WR Larry Grigsby also went over the century mark, catching 6 for 134.

4 year starting CB Ken Kelly had a great day with 2 TKL and 4 DEFL, all of which came on 3rd downs. He was always in one-on-one coverage and never gave up anything. He, along with Griffin, gets the game ball.

    Next up...Louisiana Monroe

    FNG (MTSU) @ Kent St

For his first user game in H4Y, who better to give the FNG a proper welcome than The Qwon?

I'll keep this bad boy short as it got ugly in a hurry. With over a minute left in the first quarter, Kent State was already cruising with a 35-0 lead and started chewing clock. MTSU would get on the board, but the Golden Flashes would respond with two more touchdowns and a 49-7 halftime lead. With all the scoring, you would think it was the Kent State offense doing the heavy lifting, but it was actually the defense. The offense took advantage of 4 turnovers forced by the defense including a backwards swing pass to the running back that bounced and settled on the ground before Kent St CB Jeremy Rice would scoop and take 37 yards to the house.

Kent St QB Charlie Denman finally got on track completing 17 of 20 for 293 yds and 5 TDs. Meanwhile, the Blue Raiders gameplan to stop John Newby didn't go so well as he carried the ball 21 times for 150 yds and 2 TDs.

Don't worry Redd, you can still be my apprentice...Being the Qwon isn't about winning (otherwise I wouldn't be the Qwon) rather it is about unnecessary trash talking and petty insults. Here are the first few things you'll need to know...

    1. Always hate Centech. He is a douche and his daddy is black. You must also figure out who Centech is as he has now changed his name on here to something else.

    2. [IMG] = Go fuck yourself

    3. Never accept defeat like a man...Always go down bitching and accusing the other player of cheese (especially Nikpin, that dude reaks of cheddar).

#10 Army Comes Back to Beat #23 Utah State

In just his 3rd game ever for Army Juco QB was asked to lead his team from behind late in the second half. After both teams were knotted up 14-14 going into half time Utah State made some key adjustments and stopped the Army offense cold. After stalling in the 3rd Army saw Utah State put up 10 unanswered taking the lead into the 4th. Gates quickly got Army on the board cutting the lead to 24-21 USU. Utah State moved the ball just past midfield when Army got a big stop making it 4th and inches for Utah St from Army's 44yd line. The Aggies came out looking to go for it, but instead tried to draw Army offsides. After several fake snaps Utah State was unable to lure Army offside and they took the delay of game penalty and punted.
Army got the ball with around 4 minutes left and began their final march down field. QB Derrick Gates was in the zone and continued to move the chains while also managing the clock. Army got within field goal range with plenty of time to spare and looked to burn some clock. Not long after though Gates saw up and coming WR Cornelius Brown sitting in the soft spot of a zone and hit the wideout who scampered in to score pushing Army ahead 28-24 with 1:28 left on the clock for Brewster and Co from Utah State. After getting sacked, Utah State quickly burnt the Army zone deep to move the ball near midfield. The Aggie hurryup offense snapped the ball but USU QB Dennis Brewster couldn't find a receiver open and looked to tuck the ball and run. He made the LB spy miss badly and looked to have the first and much more, but instead of sliding decided to cover the ball and fight for a few extra yards. The Army defensive back brought Brewster down and jarred the ball loose. Army defender Joel Collins fell on the ball gaining possession for the Black Knights and ending Utah States chances for some late game heroics.
Army moves to 3-0 on the year with wins over 3 ranked opponents and 1-0 in conference play.

Ya I'm still pissed about that one. That was one of the best games in I've played in H4Y but i feel a bit cheated I didn't get a chance to score there at the end.

Definitely a tough break steamer. After I whiffed with the LB you had tons of room and still had 3 timeouts... that fumble was huge.
