    Week 4 Cowboys(27) vs Giants(24)

    *Sorry this took so long

The Dallas Cowboys had reason to celebrate last Sunday in their victory over the Giants as they pulled out a nail biting finish. The first half was all New York as Jonathan Stewart ripped off huge runs and the Giants defense smothered Tony Romo and Co. causing multiple punts and 2 interceptions. New York led 17-0 with 2:53 left in the 2nd as the Cowboys offense took the field. After what seemed to be eons, the Cowboys finally put a solid drive together scoring on a 1 yard Barber TD. With only 25 seconds left in the half Eli Manning threw an interception to Orlando Scandrick which was taken to the house for 6 making it 17-14 at half. The second half was mainly a defensive struggle as both teams picked up another interception and made key stops. Dallas managed to score 2 FG’s to take a 20-17 lead but the Giants scored on a nasty 31yard J. Stewart touchdown to reclaim a 24-20 lead. Romo took the field and executed on a clutch drive leading the Cowboys down the field as Barber would again pound it in from the 1 yard line giving Dallas the lead again at 27-24. In the end it was a costly fumble by Steve Smith deep in Dallas territory that would end the Giants chances at a comeback as the Cowboys recovered and ran out the final minutes of the game.
