The Atlanta Falcons traveled to Chicago to face the Bears in week 4. Chicago coming into the game was 2-1, coming off a week 3 win against the Chargers. Unfortunately the Bears were without their star running back Matt Forte. The Falcons come in on a 3 game winning streak, and barley beating their divisional rivals the NO Saints. Matt Ryan coming into the game was 2nd in the league in passing yards, but has had trouble with interceptions, throwing just as many TDs as INTs. Although a high scoring game, the defense is what decided the outcome in the end. The score at half was 14-7, in favor of the Falcons. Tanner Talber, the rookie TE brought in a score. As did 1st round rookie Bensly Blake. For the Bears, the big play was their bread and butter. Cutler threw an 88 yard pass to Mcclain to keep it close. The plays that turned the tide happened in the 4th quarter. The Falcons forced 2 turnovers, both returned for scores. The nail in the coffin was a TD by Roddy White, which he broke off after some missed tackles. Next week the Falcons face the revamped Detroit Lions.
