    OU vs TTU yr 5.PNG
The Sooner offense was incredibly efficient in this matchup, as they had over 510 yards of total offense. QB Kyle Richardson went 21/29 for 251 yards and 3 TD. HB Brad McMillan added 214 yards and 3 TD on just 16 carries. In fourth quarter duties, HB Kareem Schneider ran for 70 yards and 2 TD on 12 carries. While this wasn't exactly the defensive dominance Oklahoma had hoped for, the offense provided plenty of points to lead OU to victory in their first conference game.

Miami survives the shootout with TCU thanks to some big plays from its defense. They did a good job of forcing turnovers and even returned a few for scores. The Miami offense performed adequately as well with a few big plays that helped them jump out to a big lead and hold onto that lead. A nice bounceback for the Canes who are coming off two straight losses. GG Selvy9

GG. Kinda feel like I handed that one to you, two INTs inside your 5 yard line, the one returned for a TD with like 20 seconds left in the half on a play where I had an easy touchdown but just went to the wrong guy. Went from at worst 20-13 halftime score to 27-10. Would've loved to get that last onside kick and make it interesting after you threw an INT even though you were up by 13 with under 2 minutes left, lol. But yea, those first quarter 60+ yard TD plays made it tough to comeback, no excuses there. Good luck with the season.

#4 Alabama silences the crowd in Athens, defeating #1 Georgia 28-16
In a defensive first half, Alabama's stingy defense held #1 Georgia to zero points as Alabama went into the half with a 14-0 lead from scores via a 12 YD TD from QB G. Palmer to WR B. Sylve after CB C. Gin intercepted Georgia QB C. LeMay and brought it inside the 10 YD line. Alabama would score again with 1:50 remaining in the half via a 5 YD TD run by HB T. Henry to go up 14-0 nothing heading into the break. Georgia would finally get on the board after a Alabama fumble but Georgia would have to settle with a 25 YD FG from K T. Barr to make it 14-3. Georgia would score again this time from a pass 32 YDS out from QB C. LeMay to WR J. Wesley. The 4th quarter proved to be a scoring fair as 21 points were scored, with 14 of them coming from Alabama via a 3 YD rush by C. Evans and a 11 YD TD pass from QB G. Palmer to WR J. Atkins to go up 28-10. Georgia would score to make it 28-16 via a 4 YD TD pass from QB C. LeMay to TE J. Rome but would fail the 2 point conversion and Alabama sat on the ball to close the game.
